NOS questions
Hey guys whats up? i haven't posted i a bit working and what not but my boss is selling his old NOS dry shot for like $100 bucks now i never intended on NOS but i'm saving for the H22 and at such a good deal i can't pass it up can i? any way it comes with a 30,50, and70 shot heres the question running the line from the trunk should i run it outside or inside i expect a little flaming but the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. O yea will a 98 steering wheel hook up to a 97?

Re: NOS questions (MarkVoorhees)
IM sure you could run it either way. I would put it underneath the car just tuck the lines up real well. i would think that the steering hub is the same but not positive.

Re: NOS questions (acrdheadturner)
i have mine ran inside the car, under the carpet.
you can do it either way, if you do run it outside the vehicle, also run it through some kind of extra tubing, just to keep it safe.
inside the car you will never have any problems with it, because it never really moves.

Best way is to run it outside the car and along the brake lines. If you run it inside, and by the graces of god, it leakes, you won't be living very long. Good Luck!

Its safe to say that ALL race tracks required your Steel braided NOS wire to be ran OUTSIDE the car.
I think that most tracks require that the lines run outside the car for safety reasons.
the braided hose that you use is EXTREMELY durable. and if your riding around with your bottle valve open, you deserve the discomfort.

Re: NOS questions (carolinaACCORD)
for track use the line should be outside the car, if some freak accident were to occur and the car wrecks you do not want to snap the line off in the car and risk a flash fire around your body
you want it outside were EMS can get to it
as for street, well if you got your bottle open on street and are using it who gives a ****

Re: NOS questions (urbanlegend21)
I bought Joe Petite's book on NOS...and in that book it said the best way to run the lines is along side the FUEL lines...it's the safest cause the engineers at Honda made sure that if the car in an accident...the fuel line is least likely to be cut and cause fire...your main worry is the bottle exploding...race regulations...and cops...other than that...you should be good...nitrous oxide isn't flammable so having the bottle..you..and your cabin goin in flames is very unlikely...but keep in mind that if mixed with gasoline....you'd be in deep doo doo....if you get the NOS kit...good luck with it...i've ran my kit for about 8 months...and so far so good....(fingers crossed)....

nitrous oxide isn't flammable so having the bottle..
i personally dont think you'll have a problem with it in the inside, but ya know, whatever you wanna do.
