I see what you're saying, but .... I dont see why some people rag on it when they get beaten by a car using it. Or sometimes, DONT even want to race a car using it! The bottle running out is the users issue... but I dont understand the bad talking about it being "cheating", etc..

Re: Simple Question. (TypeR1558)
damnit, this always pops up!
nitrous is not cheating (though there is the cheater system ). going fast is going fast. nothing more or less about it. I just think it's lame to have that as your main tool in your go-fast goody bag, because it runs out VERY quickly. I'd much rather have my turbo than a larger shot of nitrous, because I can tear around the country all day/night and not have to refill a bottle.

Re: Simple Question. (ion_four)
Personally I think its a waste of money. I used it all last summer, had to have gone through like 35 bottles. Its just a waste........around here its $35-40 just to fill a bottle and when I'd get it filled it would be gone that day. I thought it was a cheap alternative for HP (which it is) but in the long run I've spent more than I would've liked to. And on top of that I started to think my car was super slow w/o Nos. I give Nos a big for making me broke and not being able to afford my turbo now

the larger the shot, the more you use...there is onyl about 8 actaul pounds in that 10lb bottle...that would mean freezing the bottle for 3 hours, filling the bottle for 40 bucks, and using it all in one night....
I installed a turbo kit in around 3. 5 hours, that'll last you for years
nothing likea healthy shot of n2o to spool the t-76 though

WHO CARES?! maybe the user doesn't mind if it is not there all the time, and they dont want the constant "abuse" of a turbo. I myself like the N/A feeling of a honda for taking turns, but I like the n20 for dragging. Why should a versitile setup deserve disrespect?

As far as the person who is boosting with 260+whp, I have no hatred towards them. All the power to you. I will be running in that range after I do cams. Im gonna build the motor, and run the direct port setup.

Re: Simple Question. (TypeR1558)
I dont wanna drive around with a high compressed metal bottle in my trunk hehe. Seriously though, nitrous is good but refilling it and having to open the bottle each or (or get a remote bottle openner) is a pain. Its just nice to have power on tap and all you gotta worry about is flooring it.
