93 starting/running/codes question
Don't know a lot of details so I will give the info I know and maybe someone can point us in the right direction.
Dad has a 93 accord. Driving down the road and it just quit, like it was out of gas. Which it was pretty close. Added gas and would only start for a few seconds and die. Most of the time it wouldn't start at all. Changed the fuel filter and a vacuum hos with a hole in it. Started for a while and died.
Finally got it to start again and he took off ***** to the wall and made it about a mile to his house. It ran fine for about 3 minutes after that and then died.
He said it had the check engine light on for a couple of weeks. Checked the code with the paperclip trick under the dash. When the clip was put in and then the car was put to the on position, The check engine light would come on and stay on steady. It never gave any flashes or anything. Would this be a code "0" or code "1" or nothing at all?
Also is there a little fuel relief valve to check the pressure of the fuel pump? Most of my cars have had a tire valve type of thing that you could hook a guage to or atleast press to see if fuel squirts out. I'm thinking that the fuel pump may be intermittent.

Re: 93 starting/running/codes question (saiguanas)
all of this happened a day after a radiator hose was fixed but I checked for an electrical connector that may have got radiator fluid in it and didn't find any.
