the setup is basically, a built LS motor, T3/T04E 54trim, topmount setup tuned on chrome.

thanks eric, altho i don't know how useable it is..lol, spin thru first, spin thru second, grab traction in third. over winter i'm going to be doing some things to make it more driveable, plans are a cage, paint the bare interior, build a GSR tranny with LSD, stickier street tires, and if all goes well, i'd still like to come to expo next year (depending on where it is)

yeah man, you definitely should. You should be able to find enough traction for that kind of power.

^i'm hoping to, it should with the LSD and better tires. it'll be a problem when i want to tune for 15psi in the spring tho..lol but i have a duel stage boost controller so i'm thinking 8psi for circut and 15psi for drag. or hit a button and use 15psi down the back straight..that should be fun.

Thanks man. Tokina's new 11-16 f2.8. Pretty nice, but I think I like the range of the 12-24 better. Plus, at that wide the difference of f4 to f2.8 is pretty negligible.

Seems like a lot of people are getting the Tokina 11-16 now. Do you own the 12-24?

I was going to purchase the Canon 10-22 last week, but with these problems with my teg, I had to spend my money I saved on parts. Anyways, sometime in the fall I'm going to purchase it and I'd like to get a nicely priced and good quality telephoto lens. Something for shooting sports and nature.

The Tokina is MUCH MUCH better. If you really want the extra 2mm then get the canon, but the Tokina is far more sharp and the build quality is much better as well. Plus, the constant f-stop through the zoom range is always a plus in lenses.

I would rebuild the Tranny. that way, u can have stronger internals and gearings of ur choice. even a new Gsr Tranny wouldn't last long with that kind of power

out of 165k miles and the 40k miles i have had the car for this was the first ever tranny problem i have had...other than the imputshaft bearing..which is a given with many miles... not to mention the car has had more than 600+ 1/4 mile passes!!!

i have the sigma "bigma" 50-500mm, wicked quality, more than enough zoom for a good price IMO. ofcourse there's better but for what i paid for it you can't go wrong. what are you shooting with?

^i hate you because you made 300+whp on 10psi jk

but it sounds like me and you had a bad weekend, i broke my first shaft. i was on my street rims/tires, just falken ziex's. did a burnout, held at 4k and dumped the clutch. well the car diden't even jerk, i sheer'd it right in the middle of the shaft. btw it was the first run but thankfully a buddy of mine has an extra shaft so it was back up and running.

but! i did pick up a new part....

jailbait next door: (when she gets dressed up to go out she looks OMNOMNOM)

^it's a love/hate thing, the stickers on the side are coming off (just put them on for a show, been too lazy to take them off) and i picked up another hatch so that i don't have to drill into my shaved wingless one.

How much did you pay for the 50-500? whats the lowest f-stop?

Is that a real Mugen wing or a knockoff? I've always wanted a real one.
