Now for the bad video....

it was the last pass of the night for me... i was going for a 11.4 pass... it thinkk it would have done it... the car seemed to launch good and as soon as i shifted into 2nd well it didnt sound to good... at first i thought i broke an axel.. as you can tell i was in 2nd and it would just free revv... i put it in first and it moved so i then knew something happened to 2nd gear... as of right now i have not taken the tranny out but im guessing i sheered 2nd gear... i dont understand why... its not like im making major power but o well...it happens... here is a video of the noise i was talking about :

yikes! sounds like something definatly went there. are you sure it's second gear? think it was the clutch by anychance? (altho you were able to still get it into gear right?)

were you fully into gear? perhaps you were like, 1/2 into it and let out too fast and that's what killed the 2nd gear...anyway i guess you'll have to pull the tranny to find out, good luck mang but still, 11.5 is flippin fast!

Excellent photos, Flexin! I can't wait until I get my teg back on the road.. she nees a fall/autumn photoshoot badly!

Here's a quick shot while she waits for Honda to deliver her parts. PS: I know she's dirty.

More coolant hoses that need replacing. I've already replaced the IACV, FITV, 2 coolant lines/hoses, and the thermostat. I placed an order for three more coolant lines/hoses today because apparently I overlooked them. All parts are OEM Honda.

I love popping tires!!!

5th tire popped in the not even 1 year of owning the teg. YAY! First tire pop on the new 15 in rims too. I thought I left this problem behind when I threw out those 17in rims. LAME!

I really dont know. 2 of the tires I know came from nails that I decided came from the Do-It-Center because I used to drive behind it to get to my work faster. When I found out 2 other kids from my work got flats from drive inbetween the do it center and the 7 11 I stopped. I got 2 flats since with the same 17in rims, then I just got one last night and to my knowledge, I have no clue what caused it. I cant find any tears, no gashes, no nails, nothing sticking out. And I can still stick half my finger nail into the main groove of the tread. Thats how much tread I have left. A LOT. So the only thing I can think of was a long gnarly nail... which I cant find.

I was coming off the freeway exit ramp and it founded like I nailed something in the road, but with my rear right wheel only, which was odd cause neither me or my friend saw anything in the road. I saw nothing and had absolutely no idea what it could be. My buddy said he was watching the road the second we heard it and the only thing I ran over were the pac man bumps. He said though there was a patch of like 6 of them that I ran over, he said maybe that was why it sounded so loud. It wasnt until almost home that I went to change lanes and ran over one of the normal pac man bumps in the lane divider. It was really harsh and I knew instantly I had a flat tire in the back. Wasnt that far from home and my buddy looked at the back right tire and said it still had a lot of air so I continued to drive home, it wasnt very far at all from the exit ramp. Got home and I was right, it was flat. Couldnt find anything in it though. I pulled the car into my garage after finding a neighbor with an air compressor. I jacked the car up then realized I dont have a wrench that can fit over extended lug nuts. So now Im looking for a ride to the tire place to buy a wrench, then coming home to throw the spare on then back to the tire place to hopefully get it plugged if not then replaced...

Bored while trying to find a ride... yay for oem jacks!... and the neighbor who helped me.

The OEM Jacks are good for jacking up slammed cars, but I don't use mine.

Yeah, but hopefully mine will be too low for that. Once I get money coming in, after a couple security installments, I wanna throw some air bags on her. For both security and cosmetic. Mainly security cause I wont even be close to tucking rim unless its parked.
