Update for me, I pulled the IACV today, did a quick spray with Simple Green. I haven't installed it yet, but plan on soaking the insides again tomorrow. Hopefully that'll fix the surging idle problem. Then I can start the teg and find that coolant leak!

just a stupid little video but it shows how the RSX-S sounds... it is a LS with a short ram intake, stock header, 2.5 inch piping and the rsx muffler

Yeah its an automatic. Ill give that a try before we head down to Hollywood today. Thanks!

Back when I FIRST got the car it was at 80,xxx miles. At about 90-94 the engine light came on. Back then my mom had me take the car to Pacc who I told about the reving. They said it was either the valve adi I needed or... and told me a few other things I cant remember cause this was like a year ago.I talked my mom into just letting Pacc do the timing belt cause she was scared shitless on that. I took it around to other places to get the other **** done for a lot cheaper. In that ordeal I got a tranny flush.

How often should one flush and refill the transmission fluid I guess is the real question?</TD></TR></TABLE>

i've actually heard that flushing an at trans can mess it up...dont quote me on that though. i've never flushed mine...and i run AMSOIL atf. after a while Epic, you should learn to do your own work because it's the only way you can know it was done right...imo. ever since my accident, this is something that bothers me the most about my car since i cant work on it.

i dont like to copy...but i might have to get me a type s muffler. mine sounds like sh*t because it's rusty and rattles.... what other oe mufflers car fit dc's?

here's a question for you guys: should i get a green car cover, or just stick with gray or tan?

I like the both fronts. I like the earlier front a lil more, I like the fogs on the 97 more and it looks less bulgy to me. The rear however is another story. Im not a fan of the 01 rears at all, Whenever I see them it gives off the plastic snap-off look. Ya know, like a model car, the edged of the plastic arent as tampered as they should be and its got extra plastic. Thats all my mind sees haha. And I HATE the rear valence (sp) on the itr. Ew. Less going on the better I say very often.

Thats real nice. 100,000 more miles then I bought mine at for about a grand cheaper... lil less. If I could get rid of my auto Id get ahold of that car. Miles means nothing to someone who wants to completely rebuild a new b18.

Im going to start throwing around selling my auto for 4500 again. Id really rather start with a manual.

The body, bay, and interior is perfect on the teg for sale. The only downfall is those miles!

.... who ya askin? Im assuming me?

How much you guys think I could ask for it? Its bout 98,xxx miles. Im the 3rd owner. Near PERFECT condition in every way. The only problem is a needed paintjob. It looks good all around minus a few clear coat blemishes and chipping near the rear license plate. NO RUST. And I recently took care of everything needing to be done mechanics wise minus replacing the hoses which arent on their last leg just yet... timing belt, valve adj, replaces the gasket, all the seals, power steering and flushed its fluid, all the drive belts, front axel, rear brakes, arm bushings, flushed the injectors. Did EVERYTHING my old manager/car guru showed me. Took it into Pacc, got a throttle body service, safety inspection, and about a year ago had pacc do everything possible to bring it to perfect working order... Put over 2 grand into just service after spending 4800 for her.

Only thing Ive done is put smaller rims on it and kept it really clean.

Yeah. But thats EXACTLY what it is. I want a track car but I cant have 2 cars. So i need a dd/track queen. Thats my idea for this car, but as stated Id rather start with a manual.

Whoa. Speaking of coincidence. I roll through circle k to get an arizona before school. The guy at the counter asks me if my car is for sale. My first thought was "wtf are you stalking me on h-t?" I immediatly blurted out hell yeah, 4700. He asked me how many miles I told him about to hit 98k. He said he have to talk to me about it but he didnt wanna hold me there and the line was growing. I was like "HOLY [freak]ING RANDOM ACT OF THE GOD I DONT BELIEVE IN!!!"
hahaha. I was thinking about that teal teg to that was just on here. Im going to talk to the guy tomorrow, I know I told him 47, but maybe he'll jump on my deal faster if I just ask for the amount Ill need to get that other teg. Fingers crossed!

Bulbs finally came thru, but I need to replace my OEM fluted lens for some clear Ebay lens. Dang flutes are killing my light output and cutoff.

That's great. Rare to see turbocharged Hondas that actually have a usable power band. I'll bet it is a blast.
