Don't get me wrong, I think it is a very good and gives good gains (and I didn't know it had gains like that), but what do you think about the J's Racing, ARC Magic, and Comptech intakes? </TD></TR></TABLE>

I've had the comptech and J's. The J's does nothing and suffers from serious heatsoak. It does look cool though. The comptech is the next best thing to the Mugen. Good power and great throttle response. Can't really compare to the mugen though.

The ARC looks awesome and I used to really want one, but when I started researching it and talking to people who had it and tuners I discovered that it makes NO power whatsoever, but it does have pretty good throttle response. None of the purchasable intakes even remotely compare and that's not just me toting the product I spent ll my money on. Do the research and you'll discover what I'm saying is absolute truth.

Gotcha... Well you know how PasswordJDM always shows dyno gains from their intakes? ..what do you think about them?

BTW, I'm just curious about all this, seeing as though you track your **** and everything.

it ALWAYS pays to do your research before you spend any money. i've learned that with real cars, r/c cars, and r/c airplanes. the internet can help you tons. something i think is usually true, you get what you pay for.

until I see consistent, replicable proof of it, I wouldn't believe it.

Do you mean consistent dyno gains of making the same amount of gains each time?

I see. I'm not going to say the J's Racing intake is amazing, but I felt a crazy difference going from a AEM CAI, to the MemoryFab (J's Racing replica) SRI. I don't know, maybe its in my head.

haha, no I'm just saying if you're happy with it and it feels good to you then that's all that matters. A lot of people bought them because they were supposedly the best thing out there, but a whole lot of people later found that they really don't offer anymore gains than just a filter on the stock arm. My knowledge is based off ITR motors mostly thought so they may make more power on b18c1s
