was your clutch pedal making any weird noise before this happened? Like a "creaking" sound? Mine has been making that sound ever since ive had the car. I know this problem inevitable.

Yes it went creak creak about 10 times or so, then after getting back into the car from Lowe's it went snap. The piece that broke was the round cylinder part that well is common to break. My 88 HB never had this problem, but it was excedy organic on a cable tranny. The 3 puck is a beast on a hydro conversion cable hooplah.

So I'll take a look at 90-91's in the junkyard. Man. They're going to know me by name soon. SONEM is about to get my business. F cable clutches. They're only good for cable trannys and/or stock discs/pplates.

i broke a 90' assembly. they also suck.

the pivot point broke. its not coated at all from the factory, rust builds up, and with a heavy clutch, it breaks eventually

i reinforced it and its great, even with a heavier clutch now. i make sure i spray it with a lube once and a while too

good luck with the sale... i would think twice about selling it though. you may not find another EF in decent condition when your ready to get back in to one.

if your rockin a 4door gsr, you may have to change your name!

add 10k to that and you will find me in an ariel atom. my first toy car that can cost that much will go right to owning one.

FYI: if u need seat brackets from wedge eng. just call them. i ordered a pair today w/sliders for a lil cheaper than what it was being sold in the marketplace. someone is upselling cough cough.

So this now brings up the problem. I bought two seat brackets but only have one seat? What's a nice bottom mount drivers seat? Or maybe I will hold onto it for the future when I can buy the Speed S's brand new.
