The Official EF Discussion Thread
Honestly Im not sure what "application" the radiator is from, I assumed it was just an EF full width application. The K Tuned bolt on tabs never worked well for me(different car). The bolts would hit the ground or trailer all the time and spin the tab around the bar, cause the radiator to come free besides the top mount. Although you could start with their tab system and just weld it to your bar, whatever it may be.
Presidential- If your radiator is below the bottom core support than it has to be larger than a EF/DA application radiator. DC/EG rads require clearance like mounting to the bar and cuttng the hood webbing on a U.S. spec hood. I think for the mounts were all on the same page where they need to be solid mounted/welded instead of bolted as they would or do rotate when only bolted.
I actually pulled it out of my storage tonight because i was going to sell it... need money for racing so this has to go. text me and i'll send you some pictures 651-226-7157
Because i wasn't happy with how much it made
It set a benchmark though, and it made really good torque. I've got some mods in mind to bring the boost down a little bit (it's too high atm IMO) and hopefully that'll result in a higher power output.

okay, while I would love to pick it up, I just dont have a place to put it - I have a friend that is getting rid of his 89 civic si. Its got a nice strong b16 and cable trans with no grinds. May need some wiring redone - a prev owner liked to do the 90's aux lights (ambers, corners, sidemarkers, etc & stereo stuff)
Chassis is straight with no rust. Original interior, OG CA car. if any of you guys are interested, let me know in PM.
So many places to get clean old JDM cars now, didnt know about Japanese Classics - too bad the prices are still pretty high, lol. Car is very nice Adam!

Something I found browsing earlier, opinions?
Thing is in mint condition with 81k miles. Are the values of these really going up or is the poster just crazy?

Will post the pictures and stuff when I get home.

I continually scan the nation for CRX's because I am an EF addict. I have owned many and this one is the nicest since the 1991 I bought back in 1993! 36 mpg and a fun car to run down the back roads. Car is very nice but not a museum specimen. Interior is amazing. Exterior has good paint but definitely some dings and flaws due to growing up in Bellevue. The car spent it's entire life in a small condo basement garage. Seats are supportive and firm like new. The only non-stock piece is the Sony cassette player that rocks like 1990! Original sticker is included as well as a folder of maintenance records. A great commuter that will outlast any of these modern economy cars. Please call or text any questions. Charlie, sorry to hear, major work involved? Or just messing with your timeframe?
New 15x8 enkei rpf's in 4x100 coming out soon, severely tempted to eschew a period look and sell my Ewing fins to pick up a set. Anyone have any suggestions, let me hear, car is mostly daily with autox/road course duty.
I'd like to keep my current 15x7 type x's for autox and had wanted to get some 8's for daily/road course/open track days. Would consider rebarrel/lip fins to 8's...
You guys have a better idea of form over function, etc. Thanks in advance.
hum.... looking at my to-do list before next 8-9 days before ITRCA event @ GMR
1) install water temp gauge. weld on 1/8"ntp fitting to thermo housing
2) install innovate traction bar...weld lower radiator mounts (i cut mine off to install the FR one)
3) install sk2 rear camber kit
4) turn 4 rotors
5) install hp+ rear pads
6) install xr3 front pads
7) install air duct on WW bumper & figure out plumbing
8) install battery kill switch, cut up WW rear bumper
9) flush coolant & try some royal purple ice
10) arp studs for rear hubs
11) alignment

I also added a few things to the to do list:
12) install DEI lava wrap (manifold, dp)... ran out for the downpipe.
13) install PTP lava turbo blanket
14) fix cracked dumptube
Also found out Friday night my dump tube as cracked.
All the fab guys had left early Friday for the holiday weekend, fortunately Kyle (co-owner of MAP) stayed late to close up & he also fab's! Big thanks to Kyle!

I had to do some milling to my new cobalt friction xr3.
Mild brake setup 10.3 integra rotor, itr caliper/brackets, dx/si knuckles, 3mm spacer behind the rotor.

New turbo blanket

New air duct & goodies.
I wanted int prove pad life since they are pretty spendy.
Also now not too worried about brake boosting around corners if needed.
Fits perfect on the ww bumper

I was suppose to leave at around noon Friday (8-10hr drive)... but didn't leave until 9:30pm. The goal was to get there before track opens at 8am. My wife & I got there in 9hrs, but lost 1 hour due to timezone change. Only slept for 30mins before gates opened.

There was heavy downpour from 12:30-2pm & light rain from 2-3.
During the heavy rain, there were several cars out there but too many spin-outs/off track & poor visibility.
Note to self... I need to fab up umbrella for the turbo/velocity stack
I took the EF out there during the light rain session & had a blast discovering a few things about the car (wet grip, locking brakes).
Got black flagged at the track cause i was trailing 10ft of wrapping.
My guess is that when the wrap got wet in the rain, it got looser (even with ss ziptie).

Big thanks to Dennis Duff.. (EF001282) for coming through with extra exhaust wrap.
I got done wrapping manifold & dumptube around 5am Friday night.
I text him to ask around Chicago area for anyone who has extra exhaust wrap so I could finish wrapping the downpipe at the track.
Overall it was a productive trip.
Plenty of seat time (approx 40 laps)
Testing in new suspension & pads
Improved ect/bay temps
Improved overall driving/driver
I'll upload video later tonight.
Next event is MAP's Proving Grounds at BIR this weekend!
Hopefully traction bar & water temp gauges come in by then.

All good brotha.
It was nice chatting with you. I'll be back up there for future events. It's always a blast hanging out with you guys.
Bingo.
Yeah nothing fancy. I just got lucky and found some which fit the WW kit nicely.
I ordered the 2.5" x 6" hose & inlets ducts from pegasus.

i just updated thread with some pictures & info.
I wouldn't suggest the air duct for daily driving (maybe if you used 1.5" ducting.
With my 2.5" ducting, I can get about 1.5 full steering wheel turn (right & left) ... it's plenty turning for track but my not be enough for parallel parking lol
