LOL! Yes it does! I'm still quite young, but I can imagine what you mean. It's been a long time since any of my friends were car enthusiast though.

Thanks for the input on the valve cover. I know we have a machine here at work for powder coating and we have a media blaster. So I will see if I can't get a *discount* haha.

As for the trans and LSD, I didn't expect too much feedback. It's a pretty specific question.

Congrats on the autopower 4 point roll bar. Definitely looking forward to seeing it installed! I have been contemplating the same thing. I know you do autocross so the harness will be an improvement for you. What color are you painting the bar? Black?

sp33- Cars look good

freeman- Can you get the transmission inspected before purchasing by a reputable shop? I think average pricing is around 1k plus. They are getting rarer as well.

I was planning on installing it myself. I have the YS1 trans, looking at an OEM LSD to install in place of my open factory diff.

I think I may have confused you, or you confused me. I'm just wondering how much the OEM diffs go for.

got it, thought you meant whole transmission with lsd. Not sure on seperated price, but should be less than an MFactory that is for sure.

used...depends on how reputable the seller is... anywhere from $250-350 is the max i'd pay for a good condition oem lsd.

Bently- Yeah! I thought as much. I got my trans fairly cheap too. I have been pricing a new unit out and debating when to get it.

Charlie- $250-350. The seller is pretty reputable. You all probably know him. As for condition, I really haven't asked for photos and I'd really be going on his word anyway as far as miles and wear.

sp33- As nice as your sedan is, that yellow hatch stole the show for me. Just grabbed my eye the whole time!

sp33- You guys have some really clean cars down there.

I installed my Invidia exhaust on my car and got a new vanity plate. I'm kind of tired of the look to be honest, but it looks and sounds better than the old rusty stock exhaust.

Anyone know if they are still restrictive on a B16 swap in CA? getting it BAR'd?

I have a friend I may get my old 89 Si back from, it has a B16 swap but needs some wiring work. Not sure if I should take him up on it. I dont have a garage at the moment and no place to put it. but the chassis is pretty good overall, no rust, no prior damage.

Not sure since I would have to choose his vs mine (91 Si, rebuilt D16A6, new trans, clutch, etc..)

I'll actually believe you. 'Built' and 'clean' are thrown around a lot!

So I've been looking at my interior for awhile. Anyone have any luck with the hot dipped replacement carpet on eBay? I've got the hots for red carpet. Speaking of carpet, is there a large enough difference between the 92-95/96-00 floor mats and the 88-91 to warrant finding the correct floor mats. I'm looking at some online, just curious. I'm comparing it and there is a noticeable difference between the stock mats.

I found new seats for my car, front at least. Wondering what to do with the rear bench seat (hatch). Suggestions? Is there a 'good' seat cover for them? They aren't in terrible condition, but they are worn and I don't care for the color (gray-ish now). My front seats are synthetic leather, for anyone suggestion a rear seat cover.

Hoping to get moved to a new place in the coming months (with a 2 car garage!), possible promotion at work, and then I'll be working on my car again. To all the guys who get work done in a drive way, I salute you. I just can't do it myself. 105 in the sun wears me out.

Not sure about the carpet but there are some companies that copied the OEM mats for the EF. I don't have the link but Rob may or Travis the guy with the restored white 89 si.

I'll look into it! I actually saw one EF with red carpet and it's making me question my original lust. The factory gray on gray interior doesn't really mesh well with it. Maybe some SEM interior dye is in my future.

stock interiors dot com.

they have some really good carpet plus different colors.

you can have them not glue the jute pile on the back.

It is a lot thicker.

plus spray painting carpet just makes it hard.

Nice website, good pricing too. $30 cheaper than eBay.

The SEM paint was for interior panels, not the carpet. The gray interior doesn't match the red carpet well. But black interior does much better. So I may remove it and paint the interior trim darker.

Use I think bully dog adhesion promoter for plastic panels first.

Prep the panels really good first.

then do the adhesion promoter then the sem.

That is how i did mine. looks factory.

Noted! I was going to buy a quart of it (SEM Black). Then thin it and spray it through my paint gun since I'll be doing a ton of it. I'll grab some adhesion promoter for the plastic panels when I do this too.

Those companies no longer use the CRX or CIVIC logos on the mats they make.
I bought mine in 2004.
As far as the floor carpet, nothing left for SH2 or SH3, in North America.
I didnt check Europe.

Can you still name the companies Rob, I think most of us would be fine getting quality floor mats without a logo.
