Hey guys, new to the Ef civics, got a quick question. Got a 91 teal green si with almost all the options you could check on the order form. I have a water leak in my hatch and can't seem to peg the source without disassembling the whole interior. Seems to be coming from higher up. It's pooling on my speaker pods and some on the hatch cover on both sides. Can't tell if its a seal, maybe the rear window latch or sunroof drain tubes. Taillight seals were leaking but I made new ones and fixed that. And replaced the main trunk seal. Any ideas before I pull it all out and find it the hard way? Even a light drizzle will cause it.

Check the hatch hinges over time the sealant cracks around there and water can get it.

It does not have to be much to cause a leak

Also spray water around your rear windows(that fold out). You might have some rust build up under the weather seal causing it to leak there.

Welcome to the EF club.

Thanks for the ideas. There is a little paint missing in front of the hinges but the factory sealant has no signs of dry rot or chipping. Also I took the rear window seals out recently to remove my rear panels and there is no rust in my car. So I'm stumped. Lol. Maybe the rear latch seal, the one with the half moon clip moves when I latch it.

I bought a new one with silver lettering for my current 1991 civic Si.
It was the last one in Canada for 1989 Si only.
