OMG, just found an immaculate 1990 four door civic at the local pull it yourself junkyard. Paint was perfect and it only had 75,000 miles on it! Someone already got all the seats out of it. LOL

yeah, it fills up every year (we've been doing it for 10 years now, 7 years at gingerman), but somebody is always selling a spot or two.

you've got a month or so before it fills up....we'd LOVE to have you. the more EFs the better.

we talked about making it "the official EF DISCUSSION THREAD meet" about 50 pages back... but there will probably only be a couple of us there.

I would like to go, but that would be a drive with no a/c and 500 lb/in springs. And bringing my legacy would defeat the purpose.

Does anyone have a p30 ecu, b16 dizzy, or any other swap parts? I'm trying to finish up my CRX so it doesn't sit around with a sohc and my b16 doesn't waste space in my garage.

Id be down to caravan but prolly not till next year when I will hopefully have it track ready. As for the parts don't have any of those.

If you remove the seam sealer what do you plan to do to keep water out and coroding the chassis?

Btw I have a question and am in a bit of a dilemma.... so I have what I was told was an ls hydro trans, I have yet to count teeth to figure that out for sure. Assuming it is I was planning on making a hybrid trans with Gsr 1-3 ls 4/5 the car will be getting some boost in her life at some point and I believe this would be a good set up. If I am wrong or someone thinks different please feel free to give me feedback.

Anyway my question is this would you guys recommend that I buy a whole Gsr trans to make the hybrid OR just buy gears? I do plan on a rebuild with bearings, seals, and synchros so would would be optimal in this case?

I appreciate any insight. Btw the car is a 90 ex 4 door with an ls for those that don't know. Thanks!

I believe the first gear is integrated into the mainshaft (all 1 piece). Easier to start with a GSR trans, but its been quite a while since Ive dealt with a Honda trans, so unless the LS has the same first gear as a GSR (which I doubt)??

no matter what youll always run into some moisture or precipitation in the air. humidity. put a bare piece of metal out for awhile even in good weather and I bet you it rusts. and you never know when youll be driving and unexpected weather hits. should have something to clean the windshield in case of emergency/ freak rain

I daily drove my sedan for three years with no wipers. Rain-X works wonders.

Cali has shitty smog laws but we don't have inspection for Anthony like that which imo I think there should be. Especially for lights. Its ridiculous how many people in this state drive with burnt out or mid aligned lights. ****ing annoying.

Wow that crx is crazy clean!!!

Well this weekend I got a good start on the crx! All the interior is out again, front end completely off, a lot of the seam sealer out, and all the things i want shaved/ ground off marked.
