AFAIK, theres 23 and 26 spline axles for EF's.
23 is for a 4 speed EF tranny, 26 is for a 5 speed tranny.

Are all the d series axles the same length? Referring to the 26 spline ones btw.

I didn't go to Eibach this year. First time in 4 years. Grad school is kicking my ***. Ryan was there though. Pictures of his car are all over the place. I'll be at Nisei down in LA this August with my coupe.

I've interchanged them all from hatch to wagon to sedan. Not sure if EG or EK D series are the same, though.

I think its the front bulkhead, looks tweaked in maybe.. eh, grabbed a oem rad and ill save the koyo for a better ride. or maybe just flip for some extra cash.

Oh, thought you did, priorities first I suppose! I haven't really searched for pictures or anything, dont really leave this thread, just a lot of refreshing!

took it out for a ride last night (hoodless) im getting a bogging feeling.. almost like its constipated! (sorry, best way to explain it)... if i get on the gas its weak.. ill back off and then back on and its full power... I just replaced the throttle cable to a new one and its still doing it.. im starting to think maybe some shotty wiring? maybe just replace the entire harness?... would the distributor be causing that? any advice would be sweet... kinda baffled.

Sounds like timing. Either off a tooth on the belt, or the car just isn't timed correctly. It's surprising how much of a difference that'll make.

Ok, so I went to get the car today. A[pparently my buddy drove it without ever inspecting things. the front passenger side didnt even have a brake pad on the outside of the caliper bracket. It dug grooves into the rotor and that side of the caliper. I redid the whole front brakes minus new calipers. they weren't siezed and didnt leak, so I'm not too worried about them. New rotors, pads and a fresh bleed made these brakes work really well. I'm gonna check out the rear brakes soon.

One of the times that the hatch slammed shut, some rust fell out from behind the bumper. I don't meant a little rust either. It sounded like a chip bag got crinkled up. Guess I need to replace the rear bumper support. It feels pretty stable though. Don't think its gonna fly off or anything.

Didnt have time to pick up tires, so that is NEXT on the list. they are all flat spotted and one is bald. the axles pop during acceleration and turning, so they are in terrible shape. I didnt notice any tears though. they must be the originals.

theres another rust spot on the RR-1/4 that I didnt see before. Dunno how to fix that...

EDIT: Added pic of rotor

Timing or distributor maybe. Ryan had a problem with my white CRX when he bought it back from me. He thought it was fuel...after a process of elimination he finally tried a new dizzy. Ran like a champ.

Im as sure as sure can get that the timing belt is on proper. I did it with the motor out and I remember taking it off and doing it a couple times until I had it just right.

Arghh... The harness is a hack job from the previous owner and the dizzy is just so common it probably is that...(Ive adjusted it by moving it forwards and backwards, but the bog seems to stay) I was thinking fuel for a little while.. maybe a clogged injector, Ive heard many story's of a motor going due to a faulty injector.
Really it could be anything that is yet to be repaired or replaced which is becoming everything!

Anyone have any advice towards where to get a b16 obd0 dizzy..?(a reliable one) maybe a harness as well to just start over with.. and I can redo the subharness for vtec, o2sensor, myself.
Would it be better to just go to obd1 like you guys all said months ago!?!
Not really sure about my options, get kinda lost with which harness works with what and what dizzy and than what ECU (just bought a new obd0 ecu thinking it was that) If anyone cares to explain the cheapest most reliable option, Im all ears!! thanks as always!

Electrical is not my forte!

Just buy a DK dizzy. It will last a few years if you dont have problems with it immediately.

For an area where the clear coat is toast, could I just sand it down with 800, then 1000, then 2000 and spray some clear on it again to make it look decent? I don't care if it looks new, just dont want it to feel rough when I put my hand on that area...

have a situation...keep the over-sized mishimoto intercooler that i bought and cut up my front crossmember for it to bit or sell it, losing money, and but a precision intercooler that will fit w/o modifying my crossmember but will deplete some funds from my build
