It has to be something wrong with the distributor...unless it's doing it with the old one which never threw the code...Some wiring may have come loose on your jumper maybe?
It did it with both, I dont have a jump, i have a rywire complete harness. the pins hwere loose so i swapped the clip on the the harness side and htey are tight now and still get the code.
I was thinking a regular socket would work because its smaller. I might just have to pick up a wobble extension as they look promising. That or pick up a 1/4" set of sockets with swivel and extension and try it that way.
TRY this..... 1/4 inch short socket... put the socket onto the bolt first... either by getting under the car or even use a magnet and drop it on... then take a long 1/4 extension and pop it in... you may need 2 extensions.
a wobble extension may help also... if your not familiar with a wobble tip its a little more rounded out than a normal extension tip.. it allows for that slight degree of play to get in that extra tight spot. a swivel may be too much wobble for that spot.

Im going to, i cant find answers im tired of working 12 hours days in the lab and then working to 3am on my car to back here at 8am
No this code is important, in the datalogging you can see the rpms shoot up to 7800 and back down to 1300 3 times (while idleing) the motor doesnt know where it is. Im going to bypass my harness and run two new wires into the ecu, other htan that i cant thing of anyhting
For whats it worth i cant entirely blame him. I sent him the plugs so it was my plug, his crimp job was mint, it just my plugs wouldn't hold the pins properly.
