Nah, you dont need it.

Yes, a rear ST bar likes to come in contact with exhaust piping, especially larger aftermarket kind. I wrapped my ST bar with some split hose to act as cushion so you dont hear the rattling/banging.

just run a exhaust that doesnt bother the ST rear. Redshift, or i made my own.

there is plenty of space to go around it, its just the having to cut the pipe and weld in a new piece, how loud is that redshift exhaust? i dont want it to sound like im running open header!

Yea thats tough to do if you have a traditional set up. Otherwise, I can see how the redshift setup would be perfect, but definitely not street/cop friendly.

Is it possible to buy just the muffler part, I already have all new mandrel bent piping. I would like to save a few bucks and just weld it onto my existing exhaust. Or is there any other option for an exhaust that size and style...

anyone using a good universal type muffler?

so i just priced out what i need/want for my crx form honda. like moldings and clips and it came to about $900. ouch, who would have thought a 88 crx could cost me so much
