I would like to know if someone else has had this problem, or if anyone else has installed these on CRX si RTA's before without a problem.
So I guess DA/DC/EG's the only ones they will fit? Also, did you say that the newer pwjdm ones have bump steer adjustments or was that PCI?

to be honest, i dont know what they fit... i dont think password does either. im waiting for a phone call or at least a e-mail back from Brian at PCI.

PCI(pro-car innovations) makes them for Password JDM.. they are the same product. Yes, the newer versions have a bump steer adjustment, so the site says, havent had them in my hands. they also are said to bolt in instead of needing to be pressed in..

Think i may give up on the bearings in the RTA... at least on a crx.

i assumed they were bolt in... but Leo at Password told me they are press in... the newest version they have are bolt in(supposedly)... im so lost and frustrated with password and these bearings at this point i may just return them and go with a mugen hard rubber.

Ill let you know when Brian gets back to me..

Does anyone know the inside diamter of the bushing on a crx RTA that came with drums?

crx rta bushing oem- 3.15 inches
da rta bushing oem- 3.36 inches

my crx si RTA inside diameter is about 2.97 inches...
im thinking maybe the RTA i have was supposed to have drums on them. and thats why the PCI bearing wont fit.

Hotsauce I am 99% sure both versions were bolt in, that was a plus for them. I dont remember seeing any pics installed that were pressed in. But yes, of course wait till you hear from Brian.

If you could ask him a question for me tho when you do hear from him - Does it really matter on EF civics if drum or disc RTA's? I have an 89 with Drums.

Thats my most important question.. im beginning to think that maybe I have a Drum RTA... but my car is a 91 si. and im 99% sure nothing was ever changed on it considering i bought it with 70,000 miles and zero aftermarket parts. Why would someone slap on just rear disc spindles?!

do you have your RTA off? anyway you can measure across the bushing?

The PCI bearing is 1/8th of an inch too big to fit into my 2 7/8ths opening.

Unfortunately I dont have mine off, when I swapped my suspension a week ago, I noticed mine were pretty bad and this just reminded me of yet another thing I need to address.

OH yeah for someone who was asking about HID kits. I found a guy locally who sells plug in play HID kits for $100. For any honda bulb. The kit for my car installed is $110 and it a hi and low HID since I have the H4 standard bulbs. Take 10 minutes to install since there is no cutting or splicing. I'll have pictures up by tuesday of what it looks like.

My nice lil shiny radiator has already sprung a leak hoses are tight, drain is tight, overflow tank isn't full. think one of the mountin points where it sits on the xmember is where it's leaking but IDK, it's a slow one at least.

Bad mechanical week for me. The vespa's muffler fell off when I was riding down the road the other day.

my crank bolt and pulley came off yesterday, after driving around for 2 hours me and my friend finally found a crank bolt, got it all back together, and i think it may have jumped timing a tooth or two, doesnt sound healthy at higher rpm

how many times did you try to start it after it cut off. That wil determine if you bent valves or not.
I think you do a compression test on the head to see.

My b16 jumped teeth before I tried starting it like 3 or 4 times after before I realized it. My motor was fine

yea, I used to have a mishimoto radiator, until I kept getting leaks in it. It was purely my fault though. I neglected to put anything between the fan and radiator, so the fan rubbed tiny holes into the tubes. I didn't make that mistake with the stock replacement.

It never quit running when it jumped. When the crank pulley came off I was less than a mile from the shop, so i turned around when my battery light came on, I thought my belt just broke. I couldnt tell that my timing was off until I was gonna show off at a local meet and it sounded like a subaru. It idled fine and was fine at low rpm's just until I took it into higher rpm's was when it was ****. I may just buy a new motor, Ive been looking for an excuse to get vtec
