if possible i would love to see a picture of the cutoff(headlights aimed at a wall or something flat)....that is def a better way to do that(using shields), but i would still think there would be some scatter

I use H&R spacers as well. I refuse to buy the ebay ones. The H &R's are hubcentric, but they come with studs so that sucks. I don't think there's a way to get them by themselves. I spent $120 for 4.

Any one install PCI or PWJDM rear spherical bearings?
Just got my CRX Si trailing arms back from the powder coater, went to install the bearings and they are about a 1/4 inch too big.. pulled out a set of DA RTA's that I planned to use (untill the guy at pwjdm told me those bearings wont work on DA arms but will on CRX Si arms) and the sleeve looks to be about the same size, 3 inches. I havent removed the old rubber from the DA arms, but im pretty sure thats the RTA I should have used to begin with. So now I think im left with 2 options, get the DA arms powder coated now and use the bearings, or send the bearings back and just go with a regular(oem, mugen) bushing??

when using DA RTA's on a crx do you use CRX si ebrake cables or DA cables?
is there any other difference between the arms, besides the opening for the bushing?
Edit-- just realized the new wheel bearings i bought for crx si arms are a different part# then 90-93 bearings.

My entire suspension is bearings.. well as much as possible, Progress bearings in the front LCA, Mfactory toe, camber, Rear LCA, and tie bar(all bearings). throwing the OEM rubber in the most important spot would be short changing it all. I wrote to Brian from PCI, ill let you know what happens... password has sence come out with a newer version which allows bump steer adjustments.

Word. OEM is best, but bearings are best for track applications. I'm thinking the powdercoat got too thick dude. You should think about shaving around the hole and trying to get those bearing pressed in again.

And OEM rubber in those RTA's won't be short changing yourself...just don't put poly **** in there.

Brian from PCI is the ****. He designed my rear wing stays and got me an innovative sponsorship. He should work with you.

My buddy color changed his teal del sol to imola orange. I tried to tell him to redo the teal, but he wouldn't listen. Now he sees a few very nice teal sols every now and then and hates himself. lol

Sorry hotsauce. Is this a track only car? Sounds like a beast with bearings everywhere!

Hey guys, a quick headsup. I am moving and selling some of the racier parts off my car before it goes into long term storage. PM or email me if you are interested in:

- G-force Latch 5pt harness
- F1Spec Type 3 with custom welded EF rails
- Autopower "Race" Cage for EF hatch

Major life changes ahead for me. I cant bear to get rid of the hatch all together, but it needs to mellow out a tad!

I'm sure some scatter is still there, but I don't have any specific pics that I can remember taking. The video kinda gives you an idea of the beam.

if the image don't work just open the link...

My RTA bushings are pretty much toasty as well and I was planning on doing the spherical bearings as well (it'll mainly see autox).

Weren't the PCI and PWJDM the same?

Edit - the PWJDM ad indicates EF's with rear disc only? I have drums, 89 Si, will that really be an issue?

EDIT #2: Anyone have the part number for the VTEC solenoid gasket set for a B16A?

There is no powder coat on the sleeve area, it was sand blasted but not coated inside there. its a good 1/4inch off, im not wrecking a 280$ bearing trying to smash it in!! I may just have to send them back and scrap that idea.. its gonna be stiff enough.

I really dont want to have to powder coat another set of arms, do the E-brake cables(crx si) work the same with DA RTA's?

How long did your set-up last before you noticed wear and tear? and is that with driving it on the street or track?

How big are the bearings anyways? Do you have calipers to get an accurate reading?

these are the measurements i got... i dont think a press is making up the difference of a 1/4inch.

CRX Si RTA diameter .....about 2 3/4 inches
DA RTA diamter ....about 3inches
Old style PCI-PWJDM bearing housing ....3inches
New style PCI bearing..... ? inches

I would like to know if someone else has had this problem, or if anyone else has installed these on CRX si RTA's before without a problem.
