you already cut that off?
that's ok. put a swagelok on the dash side of the fire wall and run it into a 90 bulkhead fitting and feed the fuel line out the evap vent hole. that hole is just perfect sized for the earl's bulkhead fittings and all you may need is a npt to -6 adaptor to go between the 2.
it would look even cleaner than the way the writeup suggests. the writeup seems to be aimed at those with tehir dash installed and engine in the car.
nm, i see now where the pixor came from

no, mine is still stock. i took that pic from chase's write-up.
i will probably do mine on the dash side though, since it is cleaner.

It's impossible to tell over the internet why you were having the problems you did, usually problems like leaks and such are due to installation error. I know chase ran this setup in his old car for over a year and has also done countless setups like this on other people's cars with no problems to date.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I hope your not talking to me herman. Chase never cut his fittings (not throwing chase under the bus) Second off i know what im doing and probably more than you so dont blame installer error. I had too nad since im running another adaptor -6-8 there is limited room, i think the combination of the saginaw sucking and the stress on the line is leading ot my fuel problems
next question
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Boosted Chemist »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Long story short, my fuel line that comes out the firewall is fucked. I was going to run -8 from the tank to the rail out hte driver side and set it up like a k series (i got a b16a) So the reg/supply and return is all on the one side. Now ive seen this on low hp b series, no problems, Im looking to make 500+. Would this setup cause me to potentially lean out on the far cylinders?.
Cliff notes
Advantages to driver side:
-shorter line
- dont have to pull the dash and heater to run it to the oem location (crx)
Cons
-run lean at the far end??
-Too much weight on the reg (plan on getting aeromotive)??
TIA

On the swagelok, wouldnt this fitting be more optimal? (8mm not 5/16)

i would be weary of motor vibration with the setup above. It looks like it has very very little play or slack

Agreed. You know the spoolymajigger is gonna put mad torque on that. I think I might convert mine too, although I never had a problem with the one Chase originally posted.

No, he's Marty McFly, from the future.
These swaglocks have sparked my interest. Are they similar in design to a plumbing fitting that is a compression fitting? Meaning the tighter they are, the more they seal?

any of you guys have any ef chassis laying around, i need some misc bolts, thoose interior screws, the bacl small ones, and the 4 10 or 12mm bolts that hold the bumper up..
just thought it would be cheaper than majestic, and the junkyard is about 45minutes away and i'm lazy,.. hehe
but on a side note i took my bumper off last night and repainted it, the joys of owning an std is you can repaint the bumpers cause there **** stain black. hah
