I haven't talked to him about it much. I've been visiting my parents. He just mentioned that he went over to help you.

I wouldnt waste money on engine dampers. Just run the front poly mount and the rear poly insert. I thought that setup was pretty good on Jerry's car.

So I found some pictures of a local (Detroit Lakes MN) EF that I figured you guys would like. It hurts to share the love

From what he told me this is his mod list;
-Cut springs
-DFI short ram ( +25 hp is what he said )
-Home depo trunk lift thing, and has broken hood pins holding the trunk on.
-It has been painted 3 diffrent spray painted colors since I saw it.
-Slipping clutch..

Now for the car

but I gotta Gen.2 b16
so those claimed 4 extra pounds of torque & 10 more ponies might make a difference

After I get it running I probably won't touch the car for another year or so.

Whenever you get is started vega, have someone hit the gas while you are looking at the motor. Just check out how much the motor moves back in forth. I've had shitty mounts in the past and when you shift into different gears I could hear the header hit the crossmember. But my intake manifold was not as close as yours is to the firewall.

Or he could just pull the throttle open himself from the engine bay No need for two people.

Still no need to worry about it, though. Those exact mounts have been in a CRX for like 6 years; drag raced, road course, etc.

The engine will move at least a 1/2" when under load with polymounts. When my car was on the dyno I watched the engine and it moved alot while under load. Just revving the car up in the driveway wont show much because its pulling any weight.

Have someone get in the car and put the e brake on and put it in 1st gear and let the clutch engage a little while watching the motor. that will let you know.

First time doing this so is it possible to take out the alternator and bang with a hammer rather then pulling the whole motor out again??

If you can swing a hammer in there than yes you can. I always use a 3lb mini sledge.

Hahaha. Holy ****.

Sorry, Andy, but Augusta does kind of suck. I went there to go to a show at the Sector 7 venue on the 1st.

I sold the EF9 fenders, so I'm on the prowl for some minty USDM fenders now. Let me know if you guys run across any. None of the salvage yards out here have any front end parts for the EFs.

Most Hooters girls are total *****. All you have to do is make them think you have lots of money. I had 3 of them for room mates for about 6 months, I know how they operate.
