I didn't know about the gas tank, but I do know these items. They may be small, but they add up:

- 2.5mph bumpers (instead of 5)
- Thinner carpet
- I believe the seats are lighter
- No clock
- Smaller radiator
- No passenger side mirror
- Pillar mounted seat belts so the doors are lighter
- Perhaps the smaller knuckles weigh less?

I'm not sure what else.

Since you guys are talking about weight savings, I have a JDM EF Civic front bumper support for sale, socal only (sorry). It came with my Si bumper (not SiR) and it's just sitting in my garage. IM me if you are interested...

I think the HF drums are lighter, too.

One advantage of the EF9 rear bumper is the lack of bumper support. One of these days I'm going to weigh the OEM bumper with the support, then weigh the EF9 bumper.

**** you guys want to talk bumper support weight, I have none in the front, and Mugen in the back is hella light. Like ridiculous light. Side impact beams are good for 35lbs a side too.

Geez, man, I was thinking they were like 20lbs each side.

I'm about half way done cutting the first one out. That weight it relatively high up, as well. Bye-Bye 70+lbs for me.

My turbo isnt huge, a medium frame t3/t4 starts making boost @ 3.5-4k rpms.

IDK if you guys know this but now omnipower has tps for 75 bucks.
Sure beats trying to get a tbody out of the boneyard.
