I got my civic back on the road on friday after I changed the timing belt, water pump and valve cover gasket. I got really lucky as there are no bent valves. I think since the valve springs are stiff the cams are pushed into the neutral position automatically. I suppose if I was driving at higher rpm than I might of had trouble but it looks like I am ok. The car runs fine and the valve clearances are all nominal.

i just got my hks hi power muffler in the mail. i should have it in in 2 weeks. gotta clean it up first. i guess i should angle it so i could be all cool and jdm like the rest of the cool people

at least its on a saturday as compared to sunday (EF meet, griffith park). i was dying at work the following day.

Yeah that would suck almost as much, as driving across the country everyday for 2 weeks.

yeah as far as i know i spun a bearing, and it finally let loose one day after school in the middle of some ghetto by fontana race way. but i got another sohc zc engine that runs really strong. thanks for asking though. for the ef community. now im looking for a sohc supercharger to finish my power needs.

how many tims did you actually try to start it b4 you found that the timing belt was snap'd??

I'm selling it for $220 picked up shipping at buyers exspense.
If you live in San Diego then $220 plus 3.5% gas tax if I have to drop it off to you.
