OEM is still available from Honda, but it's $258 (with trim). That's pretty steep, but I don't think anyone around here is competent enough to pull an old one and keep it in reusable condition (i.e. salvage yard). </TD></TR></TABLE>

Wow, over here in Canada glass seems to be a bit more expensive. I needed a new windshield and I know a guy who does it; cost me $200 taxes in w/o new mouldings. Now, if I was to go to an Apple or Speedy Auto Glass (big names here), i'd be in the 400 range - keep in mind CAN funds

I paid $150 to remove the old one and install a crappy cheap one, with moldings, on my CRX that cracked a week later, thanks to a rock chip. Lessons learned.

Damn that steep. I am located in so cal an got my windshield done for $110. It was done in the temecula, murrieta area. If anybody wants their number let me know. It was called PAX window dudes, or something like that. BUt I remember the PAX part. That was including the universal moulding. The only hard part was my dumbass driving to work without the winshield. And let me tell you , don't drive behind those big *** trucks cause those rocks hurt!!!

For all you harley owners who ride with just the little cap on your head. I don't know how you do it.

Haha Roger that - after he installed that one, no word of a lie, i was on the highway home and heard a nice rock hit the windshield. I looked around and didnt notice a chip. Two days later I'm washing the car and bam, nice crack forming. cheap windshields

Once i noticed that it was growing, it was time for yet another replacement! A small, unnoticeable chip i can live with - a crack i cannot. I replaced it the next day. Haha 3 windshields were in the car within like 5 days of each other. The OEM one lasted about 14 years

Hopefully I can get a friend of mine (an employee at a Honda dealership) to get me an OEM, windshield, for cheaper than hondapartsdeals.com. I guess it's better to spend a little more and do it right the first time.
