James your good with the hubs you have. expletive man, I probably wouldn't do a B series again either. After owning two B16s (one built, one stock) the only B series I would do is B16B. **** would be alot of fun. Besides that, I'll just stick to my ZC/D-series

Someone spot me $650

Not really, if your good and find good deals you can do the swap for 6k.

Until you drive a Kseries you wont understand. Running 11.6 with stock block, cam's, bolt ons, and tuning. All motor. Cant beat it.

so here is what I think I need:

DA axles
DA half shaft
EF shift linkage
EF B series mounts
complete motor
tranny
wiring harness...

what else do I need
does VSS stand for vehicle speed sensor??
what do I need to run a Tach on my car??
do I need to modify the exhaust headers to bolt up to my piping??

Yes, vehicle speed sensor. They are cable on EF and older.

Get an Si or SiR cluster, they have tachs.

Fixed

Si is cable and SiR had an electronic VSS right??

and dont you have to get a shift linkage to work with the aftermarket mounts...the EF9/SiR wont work right

Haha, I suck. I bought the S2K cluster right after I got the EF, so I didn't know that, I just know the K had electric vss and only EF had to worry about that.

Prolly just a couple grand after the tranny. I'd have bought it and held onto it or sold it for WAY MORE.

you can put the cable vss in a k tranny and it will drive the ED cluster

but any electronic VSS will work to drive any electronic cluster ...theres something up with the S2k cluster and the watertemp? idunno i was looking to put one in my EJ1 something about the values dont match on one of the sensors?? i dunno which one it was but it was confusing and a member on here made a converter for it to work

oh and you said you were getting a GSR right....you dont need a wiring harness

you have a z6 right with a Si harness prolly? with a p28

just put a intake manifold on the GSR...Skunk 2

and then chip the p28 for the gsr

only thing different than a b16 say is the the IM.

it has IAB where the straight runner b16/type R style doesnt

or you could just pin the wires for the IAB
