That's a good idea, but photobucket is sucking all together.

Trust me, I had that idea long before I'd seen anyone else do it; and, yes, it was hand-numbingly time consuming.

I was just saying the idea was original, to me. I started it a couple months back, but spent my time on other things.

Ok, I'm giving myself the ultimate test in refinishing. I'm going to attempt to respray my whole car in the next 2 weeks. My friend said I can use his hanger to spray in so hopefully next weekend I will have the car prepped to spray. I still have some bodywork to do to the sides and then I just have to wetsand the rest of the car with 600 and spray it. The darker blue will look much better I think.

Wish me luck, I am going to need it!

Break a leg.

I'm going to make some calls this week and try and source a trailer to transport the hatchie to the fab shop. The engine bay will be welded up, the cage installed, and a couple other pieces fab'd. The weather is finally decent enough to free it from the garage. It's 20* in the winter and 105* in the summer. We rarely have nice, in between, weather.

Actually, I can paint your car in your garage if you want to put in the time to temporarily convert your garage into a make shift spray booth. If you interested I can tell what to do when the time comes! I dont mind spraying, I just hate the prep work.

good luck!!! hope you finish it in time for the EF meet.

it'll look better than before. i still love the WW kit though, always have.

but the OEM look plus your color paint will make it really unique.

especially on the new wheels.

If we can get the garage prepped right so there it is dust free we can get some good quality paint jobs out of there! The hard part is ventilation. I need to find a high powered fan for cheap.

Yeah I love the darker blue in combination with the stock black trim. It goes really well together. I hate the WW kit now, wish I never put it on!

Well next time I'll take some advice from you and your approach, because it took us about 15min to get it in. I think its cuz we are fat, not enough room to work with.
