Its not the IN thing to do here in the midwest. Your probaly a kid right? Ive been doing imports for 20 years this year and had ef when they were new. All the guys that jumped the boat and got 240 so they could drift are doing the IN thing. I got this car because i own a 4 door deisel truck that i pull stuff with and wanted something else good on gas to go to work in. I have auto x, nasa raced and been a scca member for years. Im practical i have to admit..and that to many can mean cheap but i dont give a dam who thinks its cool to have a ef,ek, eg ive never road on any bandwagon. Ill get off my soapbox now.

I think he was responding to my statement from a few pages back, but he failed to quote what I said.

There are so many hypocrytical statements there, I'm not even going to dignify it with a response. Beautiful grammar for a 36 year old, BTW.

To answer your question i do buy shirts from wal-mart..nothing wrong with that..cotton is cotton. I have a nice home and thats were i like to put my money. I know who mugen is...like i posted earlier ive been in this game longer then most of you been alive. I know its nice to own the good stuff, but in the world of kids that buy this stuff on school loans and maxed credit cards dont you think 150 dollar shift ***** are crazy? Aluminum is aluminum. I dont know ive had the good stuff and auto x with it and the knock off stuff. I know with younger guys its more for rep/status purposes to have the name brands. But you guys that have mortages, kids and real world bills and resposibilites back me up on this its just not that big a deal to have the best stuff.

Now if your talking something that makes the car go or stop faster yes i will buy the good stuff because power and safety is what i seek. A 11 lb falken hanabi functions just as good as a heavier mugen or work and i got money left for R compound track tires. I guess im silly and dont get it. The bottom line is its your car build it the way you want but dont dog everyone else because they dont have it or just wont buy it for good sense reasons. Who says its cool anyway to have this stuff..dont be lemmings. Do your own thing.

yea yea i know. im going to do something slightly different. sure its been done before but not a lot. goign to basecoat it then clear coat it with a flex flat type clear that willm ake it satin. that way ill hev a satin finish like skunk2 project delta, that can still be waxed. a dark green olive satin with a black roof. military style. on some ssr type x wheels. and i want to try to somehow find clear sidemarkers so i can smoke them. i think sidemarkers are ok, but a smoke sidemarker on an olive fender might look a little different. i need 91 bumpers though. im rocking the 88s and its just not doing it for me. and i think my CF hood is too faded to save so itll probably jsut be color matched to the body. i think im over the whole CF thing anyway. jsut wanna be different from every tom dick and harry.

Here's what it looked like when I first got it for $200:

Then I got an HD lip, 15" wheels and lowered it:

After a couple of months my HD lip starting peeling off so I removed it, then added 02 Civic EX hubcaps... still looking for a lip..
