Tell me you didn't use a wire wheel brush to clean that header up. Its a lot easier to use 320 grit sandpaper then move up to a higher grit to smooth it out. Looks a lot better too. Doesn't leave swirl marks.

For those of you that have cool neighbors and a garage to work in it is very possible to do this kind of stuff on your own. I spent $100 on my spray guns, another $100 on supplies, $500 in paint, $100 misc. stuff. Basically if you have a decent air compressor and the motivation anyone can do this stuff themselves! There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get past it it only gets easier!
For anyone with the desire to learn I am more than happy to give pointers!

I've been tempted to try this. I would need a pro to fix a couple of things on my car, but I'm afraid I would make more of mess than anything if I tried to paint it myself.

I got this email today about doing grad school in Japan...hmmm.....
is this enough to live on? Benefits of the program include a monthly allowance of 170,000 yen (around $1,450); transportation to and from Japan; and university tuition.

Start your own business out there selling JDM doo-dad's to the mentally impaired in California. I heard they pay top dollar for JDM coin holders and whatnot.

Alright I may have to explain this out if anyone else wants to do it.
I'm pretty sure I might be the first person to install it inside of a EF seeing that they don't make it for our year specifically.

This is how it will look after the finished product. It doens't connect to the roll bar. It basically sit beside it. Theonly issue with my car is I have a DC/EG roll bar. So might roll bar sits more forward then a 88-91 Civic specific roll bar. Once I get the correct roll bar it will go righ in no problem. I might have to do some small mods to make it fit perfectly. Only thing I did yesterday was shove it in there to see how it would look, see what it sits, and see if it would conflict me getting out of my car.
whats great about it is help me get off my seat like a handle bar because my seat sit so low. I use to have to put my hand on the ground to help myself out of the car

stiffen the chassi...
I didn't want a full cusco cage, nor a roll bar so I just went for this.
Will it do anything for me ont he cruves...I don't now yet but I had extra money to spend so I went for another creative undone idea for my car.
I haven't heard many reviews on it because its a new product from Cusco

Depends on where. You'll barely make it in the outskirts, let alone a city. Unless they set you up with a host family, perhaps.
Vega, the seatbelt mount looks to be a weakpoint for something to stiffen up the chassis, no? How is it mounted at the low end?
