Maybe the pics dont do it justice! When I mean clean I mean every single hose, wire, bracket, and painted surface is immaculate. But yours looks good.
Now you be the judge on mine.

How would u make mine clean without doing the tuck?
Very smooth and nice, do you have to worry about flex cracking the bondo? The gold bolts are a nice touch, not a huge fan of the color but def done right.

If you stitch weld the seams and the filler is applied in the right thickness, it's not an issue. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem with the filler cracking, even on the non-stitch welded seams.

I agree with the wire tucking, my crx has mint oem wiring, after starting a tuck I relized I kinda like it that way. Im sure one day this "Trend" will fade out and everyone is going to be sweating mint oem plugs and ****.

Having a clean, wireless bay isn't just a trend. Hot rodders, vw guys, and others have been doing it for years and/or decades. Having a bay with no unsightly clutter and paint/body to match the quality of the rest of the car is just good taste.

To make yours more clean try shining things up like you wires and cables. Basically do a full detail on your engine bay to help make things pop out at you. Choose a focal point that you want people to notice and exploit it. Even a simple valve cover color change makes a difference.
I havent had any cracking issues and I didnt stitch weld anything. You just cant have the filler too thick or its more likely to crack. The deepest area I filled wasnt quite 1/4" thick and that is pushing it for a non fiberglass reinforced filler. I used evercoat Rage Gold for thick fills and fine filled with Evercoat Metal Glaze. I dont think the front end moves around as much as some may think. The fillers I used are also fairly flexible.
As for the the color to each his own. I hate Red,Yellow which alot of people love. I also dont like metallic paints either. If you have ever noticed some of the prettiest paint jobs are non metallic. Non metallics dont soak up the light like metallics and to me look shinier!

Go to his build thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1827471 and look at the SOHC black shiny valve cover, it is black chrome, I think it looks sick!
I would have just pasted the pic but I'm at work and photobucket gets blocked by my company.

goes really well with a lot of colors.
matches CHROME
matches BLACK
matches SILVER
matches GOLD
matches PURPLE
matches GREEN
matches BROWN
matches ORANGE
in a weird way, it shifts colors when certain light hits it. pictures cant capture the beauty.

EF9 replicas, they got shipped today. It took forever to have them sent in. They only make them to order, and they usually only make batches of them, but they made me one set, at cost, for advertising. So if enough peeps wanted them, we could do a group buy. Retail is pretty high, though.
