take a picture of the gasket. sometimes It takes a minute to figure out the orientation of those damn things, but are you saying that the only holes it has are the MAIN large one and the four stud holes?

That's what I'm wondering too...last time I was putting a tb gasket on I got all fuxored in the head and it took a minute to realize which way it needed to go on.
Then again, I'm a retard

its cool with me, but i think it'll be nice to see a build thread too. that way people can look at it as it progresses.

Nice work so far, I dont think I'll ever take either of my cars that far, you guys make it look so simple, everything clean and organized in most cases...
For me, I feel like because I have to take so much time between steps, I'll end up with a big box of parts and a lot of leftovers after, lol. If anything sits too long in my garage, the daddy long legs mob it.

I took pics I will be doing a writeup.
Exactly. You reuse the stock rails, and just install these scissors in. It was real easy once I figured it out. The first one took me a minute. The kit only is for the motors, and everything you see in the pics. The switches are extra. I went with this switch kit, and since I installed in the center console I am not using the one switch.

It was a high current setup, and required no relays. It was simple power, ground, run wires. Next I am adding a window roll up module to my alarm. Then when I arm it the windows will roll up. I will also be able to roll them down via remote too.
It took me a little longer than it should to complete this task. It always does. I ended up doing some other things. I removed the door lock rods, and remounted the door actuator directly to the lock mech. I basically redid the entire power lock install the previous owner did. Now my car is unslimjimable. Besides that even if they break my window out they won't be able to open the door. They will have to crawl through the window, and by then, they will be getting shot at.
I have about 5k in stereo junk in this car so I keep her protected well. It is my luxo-econobox daily driver. In dash Navi, DVD player, power everything, all the things a modern luxo car should have. I am contemplating adding cruise, but IDK I am not a big cruise fan. It's just going to be a more comfortable version of a crx. I love taking it on long trips. It is going to be even better now. I'll be picking up some reupholstered DX seats soon. They will be an improvement over the stock HF junk that is killed.
His black one is the new crx. His old one was silver with WW kit. </TD></TR></TABLE>
did you ever get to do that write up??

Thats it... just a big hole in the middle and the 4 stud holes.. im positive that i have it on right. There is a passage tho on the skunk2 manifold and the t/b (im not positive what exactly tavels through that) but the gasket definetly does not have a cut out or even preferation for it... im sure it has to be cut out, the stock gasket has a hole there...
maybe ill just go and get an OEM gsr gasket. appreciate the help guys.

Nice work man! are you leaving it shaved or putting a nice clean bead of seam sealer back on? You got a good jump on that thing, keep it up!
I dont think anyone will mind seeing your updates in here.. Def do a build thread at the end tho.
