Mainly the 86 yota I've been dd-ing isn't cutting it anymore. I've been wanting to get back into an EF and figured 78k is nice to start with and it's mostly stock. If I could get a day off some time soon I'm gonna swing by.

The main reasons....
The hatch didnt sit right because it was rear ended by a ricer at a meet.
The eng bay body work was total crap
The interior was never color matched.

or if you meant where is it now? I sold it to my buddy, he wants to go krx for drag.

Doesnt look that bad... From the post it looks like its from brooklyn, those streets arent the nicest conditions! may only be a 500$ car but remember what you have to put into it to make it actually driveable/safe. If the body is strait though then its worth 500 even if it doesnt run.

Low mileage is definetly out there... i got my crx with 82k on it.. all original, no accidents, taking it apart has been fun.. you can tell no one has ever removed parts on it! ALL ORIGINAL, UN-Tainted is the way to start.

Sold my project hatch because the more i got into it the more i realized it took a small shot to the front at one point and didnt want to reapair or have a repaired car... put all the stock stuff back in and sold it!
Think i made the right decision.

Ya dood thats how I feel! This car had lots of never busted off bolts! Its a good feeling. The roof sucks, but it wont be a problem once we weld the spots today!

FYI, I can no longer stand shaved bays(on my cars at least)... This car is getting all the firewall holes welded in, brackets shaved off, but none of the bolt holes will be welded in.

My whole bay was shaved on my hatch and once i was done with it... i pulled the whiz wheel and a drill out and un-did it all... hated it! I welded every hole, shaved every bracket, even welded plates over where the washer res. and intake goes... it was smooth and looked flush.. let me tell you how fun it was to put the stock motor, fuel filter, prop, etc. back into a car with no brackets... or even holes to get the harness through!!!

Cant decide how to do the crx bay now tho... dont like the sloppy seam sealer thats stock. or the brackets... but dont want to end up going overboard like last time. Cant even decide on paint color either!!

I know this was talked about in the shaved/tucked thread but... how do you(anyone) feel about the 2tone bay/interior one color & body another color paint job? I dont think ive seen a crx with it, just the Red rsx and integra.

G2, no its gunna be color changed!

hotsauce I hate the seam sealer too! Thats getting redone and correctly groomed!

I personally think sometimes 2tone can be pulled off.... but either of the cars you mentioned really really do it for me! Mikey is a badass dood, real nice guy and I do love his car, but a red bay would look better imo.

Can anybody give me some links to badass NA D series builds?

I'm starting on one, just looking to find what's the most effective route.

I love the bay of the cream machine woody. All except the motor. That two tone thing is giving me ideas now. It would make things infinitely easier to keep clean or at least look clean.
