WTF, so no ref services at the moment? If so, i bet they can still hand out ref tickets.

yeah but i guess that means u can just take it to some un-knowing smog tech and basically pass any motor as long as u don't have a c.e.l. and you emissions is proper

still trying to figure out if this is a good thing or not..
But looks like I got lucky

Does that large of a front mount cause any cooling issues?

Stop and go traffic can be problematic, but in racing it's usually not. In drifting they often angle the front mount so air can move past it to the radiator due to the relatively low speeds.

It's pretty clean, but you can't see the big driver side door dent and roof dents. Those pics are conveniently from the pass. side.

The garage is full of packet boxes and I've been focused on other things. Primarily this... http://i19.photobucket.com/alb...1.jpg

Plus 4x4 is comfy.

Nice house. Is brick fairly common in OK? When I was down there in Jan. I saw a lot of brick homes and wondered if it had to do with your tornando problem.

Brick is the norm. The whole region is that way. It doesn't help with tornadoes, though. They stand no chance.

So I lied about my brake being fixed
replaced the caliper last night
drove it up and down my driveway, brakes worked fine. figure drive it to DMV tomorrow morning.
Then they started to sieze up again.
Still hearing the same noise and everything all same symptoms.

Here is how the other calipers look after removal
you can see the seal is out

So I put on my old ones
no more bling

and I still end up on the side of the freeway

After some thinking and talking to other people, my thoughts are that the caliper slides are bad from all the heat from the first brake down of the piston seizing. Which the heat may have cause the grease to dry up and now I need new lube on the slides
but to bad I'm @ work and had to get the car towed to a shop anyway before I thought of that.
But that still a thoery though
