For all you B-heads out there with cable transmissions...Does this much free play in the cable-clutch arm look correct to you?

At rest:

At contact with pressure plate:

Seems about right. That really isn't adjustable anyway. I think with the cable attached it will be fine.

I was always on the fence about those. But with so many conversions, you dont see as many clean USDM fronts. Plus I'd about cry if the front got 'bonked' and you couldnt replace any of those pieces.

It's already getting to be hard to replace the USDM front end.

To each their own, I find the form JDM conversions for our cars at least = function. I wouldn't have dropped the money for the JDM rear bumper had I not weighed the USDM bumper + support then weighed the JDM bumper + support. Then again if I ever get bonked my car is done for

yea..i dont know about the front end really being functional..i used to say that too when i had a jdm front..but my hf bumper support is about the same weight as the ef8 one..i guess if i had a k-series than the hood clearence would be functional

Does anyone else see how bad the front wheel deflection is while under heavy braking? That's with BRAND NEW OEM front LCA bushings and an Innovative crossmember with poly bushings

Oh, and can you say stiffer front spring rates? I'm about to drag my crossmember

How much clearance is needed between calipers and wheel spokes when taking into account things like expansion under high heat situations? Or is it not as big of a deal as I'm thinking it will be?

This is about all I have right now:

take a angle grinder and get to work

I had to do the same thing on my calipers to get my CF-48 from rubbing in the inside

Anyone know of a legit/fair priced axle rebuild shop in SoCal? I have some cores that I need to get rid of for DA axles

to tell you the truth.... it's easier to find JDM front ends than OEM USDM from ends.

at least with NEW parts.... its harder to get the US stuff.

Fastbrakes recommends no less than 2mm, which is what I have with the Spoon clappers. Get some 5mm H&R spacers
