Can someone tell me why one side of my hood doesnt sit level with the fender? I tried adjusting the rubber bump stop thing.

Yes it is...and it's crazy as hell. Laguna is fun, mainly because of that section, but I'd rather go ***** out at Buttonwillow or Infineon without stupid sound restrictions.

****! yea thats it. I had the same problem before, right after changing axles and it freaked me the expletive out. I jacked it up only to remember that I forgot to tighten one of the castle nuts. The lower ball joint nut to be exact. Great diagnosis Kyle. I couldnt remember what it was that made my car do that.

thanks for the info on the final drive. I hear bit of misinformation w/out facts which may have caused that comment.
I'll be getting a A1 5th gear then.

or do the 92-93 ys1 5th gear fit too

I remember someone telling me about the forks and how the ys1 have a different one.
It might have been the fork or the teeth.

ys1 absolutely will not fit your early trans james.

the only 5th gears that are swappable for your y1 are a1, j1, s1, and obviously y1. a usdm has no swappable components except 5th gear set and synchro. all of the other stuff is different diameter and size fork. so you can put an ls 5th gear set in a jadm b16 tranny but that is where it ends. there are no serviceable components that are swappable between the 2. you also have to be careful since all of it is discontinued/obsolete for the 90/91 trannys now...so what is on the shelf is all that is left. when it is gone there will be no more.

I never touched the castle nut on the tie rod end OR on the lower ball joint...So...I'll borrow a jack tomorrow (my buddy is coming up and I'll tell him to bring one). I REALLY hope that it's something stupid-*******-simple like that. Regardless, Monday I'll still be getting an alignment.

you're one to talk. i heard about the fenders chase bought from you.

that's why i had to pick up a new set for him and why they have been taking up space in my garage for 3 weeks.

<FONT SIZE="3">...anyway, 2 dudes tried to jump me tonight. im waiting for one or both of them to chime in. ef8kid knows what happened, and one of those guys is waking up in the morning with a terrible headache.
