*** I've been MIA. Reason being is I have 2 finals today, one tomorrow. Wednesday I drive to my hometown for an interview (they better be cool ppl to work with, that's 3.5 hr drive!) and Saturday I graduate!
Gosh, the y49 curse better not spoil my plans this week. On a side note my friend got his 240 back that has a redtop sr20. I mean it's quick, but damn, what's the big deal? Loud as crap, he's having issues with it already and he just spent a lot of $$

on a related note...will a DA suspension techniques front bar fit (i know the rear will). i am 99.9% certain it will but without an ef for me to try it on i can't get rid of that .01 of doubt.</TD></TR></TABLE>
That would be over kill if it fits. Everything I've ever read says to either the DX or Si front bar with a larger rear.

Everything you have ever read is not always the truth.
There are some people on this site that have made it their mission in life to tell everybody something that they have never ran in their own race car.
I have ST front and rear on my CRX and it MOBS! And in the next few weeks the motor will be done and I can start hitting the local SCCA and I will shed light on the subject.

yeah i was wondering this too. It seems a couple people bash everyone for wanting a larger front sway. It might be better in autox ect. But what about street driving? Do the pair help balance the car out?

yes they do. I have both on my car and i am very happy with its stability. I wish i had a better recollection of the order of install, but i had one bar on & it was very unstable. I then installed the other one and it was 100x more balanced. Overall i am satisfied with my bars

Of course I'm going off of what I've read, so I have no actual experience with this. However, typically a larger rear bar will help the car rotate. I know there was a big discussion in the autox forum about this setup. For street driving, the larger front bar is probably fine. My guess is that due to the car being so small, it doesn't take much of a front bar to keep things in check. I don't know the size of the Si bar compared to the size of the ST front bar. Maybe they are close in size, and just the rear ST bar gets alot bigger

I have the st front, its pretty close to the same size as the rear. A much larger bar than the si front.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Chronicsinners »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

Yeah i was going to install my rear one and if it was too loose, add the front. This weekend i installed 450 springs in the front and placed my 350s in the rear, already to car handles a ton better (ordered 450f 350r gc, but they sent me the ots kit 350/250
)

" THEY" Say that a HF front and a ST rear is the "best" cause someone found a site where the guy was running the setup and he was winning. Well that guy was also running a single cam motor. So add the weight of a twin cam motor and I think the ST front will work just fine. And also the bars are made to be used together. So I can't see that setup working as good.
But we will see.

I've seen that site. I'm sure that setup works for his specific car. Really each car is totally different in weight, unsprung weight, tires, etc. I have an Si front and DA rear for now. The std. model had non, so it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully I will be able to autox and see how that works.

ST as a pair is good for most things I do. I street around in that though. I could see the HF front being better on the autox where you need that flipping around at lower speeds. The pair of ST's though on say the hwy make it seem much more stable to me.

Chase has a micromachine RHD CRX. Rumor is he smokes some magic dust and drives it around on late Alabama nights but reports have yet to confirm this.
