wait, when the **** did i bring up my engine swap? as i remember, he mentioned my car twice for no reason.
what are you gonna bring to the table? your sohc ZC? quit now. all i said was, if i wanted a boosted LS, i could have that setup. i wanted a K. so i went K. i wasnt cocky at all. i didnt bring up my motor or car at all either. please go back and re-read 2 pages of the bullshit before you single me out.
i am almost starting to think people are picking on me because they DONT have a K.

I found out the 28th, in May im gonna be a DAD (happiest day of my life) so like others im changing direction a little I will still have the hatch but when I pay it off im prolly going to pick up a 4 door integra and put the hatch to bed till I can get my hands on a K or built B series. I will never sell it tho.
i get the new engine on mon or tue
ive got everything ready i just need the ecu to run it.

Grats dude
.
As for the LSV setups, the largest problem that I can forsee in regards to reliability is the sub-par RS ratio. I'm not a hardcore engine builder nor do I claim to be, but revving a wanna-be type-R motor with a RS ratio lower than that of a GSR to 8k+ seems like a bad idea to me.
Of course, there are those who argue that they'll baby the motor all the time (never bring it close to redline, etc.)...but who wants to do that with a B-series?
If I had a GSR or B16 I'd rev the **** out of it every day haha

about the hood clearance, is it the manifold or the valve cover?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
mainly the hood clearance. gotta think from a manufacturers point of view, that they would make something if there were no other major modifications. I dont know you, I could be wrong and they may go through with it.

RS ratio is overrated man. Life is too short to worry about those things.
Our b-series Ls/V turbo setups are taken up to 10,500rpm. hehe. and if youre familiar with drag racing techniques, we're on the rev limiter on 1st gear for about a couple seconds.

In my opinion, a stock LS bottom end shouldnt be used for an LS/VTEC setup. Its already a given fact that if you dont upgrade the oil pump that ls/v will take a dump. its not going to last long.
And on top of that, ls blocks are old, theyre worn out, what can people expect with an old motor.. its not going to last long at all.
