maybe a dc k series harness thats fucked, up say nothings wrong with it, but sure as hell didn't work and want you to sit on the phone with them as they have you go over their expletive up instead of taking it back and fixing it (for the second time, cuz they sure as hell didn't get it right the first time because the damn thing didn't even plug up, which means it wasn't tested for them to know 100% that I was in the wrong and not them)...

i skipped the phone and had a local that knew what he was doing fix it...

how about them apples?

Your poor grammar and sentence structure hurts my head

I rarely see Ryan make mistakes and when he does, he fixes them. Your e-thug logic is poor form.

my harness works perfectly. maybe its something on your car or motor? (im sorry to make that assumption, as i havent seen your car's wiring nor talked to you over the phone to help you fix it)

ive used 3 rywire harnesses so far. and will always use their stuff.

#1 obd0-obd1 conversion
#2 ob1-obd1 vtec
#3 K motor into crx chassis

i think a company that is willing to take the time to sit on the phone with you is called GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. try getting that with another company.

peoples cars are wired completely differently at times depending on how many previous hack jobs that have been done in the past. so, without knowing what you have done to your car or what sort of wiring was needed, i would personally want to talk to you over the phone if i cant see your car's wiring in person to make sure everything is 100% correct and will be compatible. keep in mind you are putting an X motor in a Y car and are using a custom harness. http://www.RYWIRE.com stands by their products 100%. ive personally seen ryan answer 30+ phone calls a day giving out advice to plenty of people. even people who didnt purchase his harnesses. its companies like his that make the sport better and easier for the regular person.

if you dont have the patience to work with a company to provide you the correct service, its kind of on you. especially when a company or person wants to provide you with the best customer service around. you said you skipped the phone convo and took the harness to a local. doesnt sound like you wanted their help.

how about them apples?

BTW, i do not work for or get anything for free from rywire.com but i use their parts on my cars because they do stand behind them and will work with you to make sure it is 100% wired correctly and running properly.

i see someone deleted their post...

heres my reply to the deleted post

i paid 300 bucks for a harness that works... not a harness that doesn't work... they didn't even have the right plugs on the damn thing the first time they sent it to me, why would i pay someone 300 bucks to be a guinea pig, he said with great confidence that there was nothing wrong with his harness. If it had the correct side plugs on it the first time i woulda believed him but I'm not going to sit on the phone with him as he has me rywire his whole harness for him.

I asked to send it back for him to fix, he didn't want to do it. I didn't have the time to expletive around anymore so I paid someone to fix it for me.

again, nobody can wire a car from a hundred miles away without knowing what they are working with on the other side.

ive personally spent over $800+ on wiring for my project because i keep changing my mind on my engine builds. even though my wiring was changed, it still works 100% perfectly, because i take the time to understand what needs to be done. whether that be speaking to him over the phone for an hour or not.

just from reading your posts, i can assume you are an impatient person. that explains a lot about the situation at hand.

i'd rather NOT make excuses for RYwire, because i do not know the circumstances. i jsut wanted to point out my various personal experiences. that have all ended better than expected.

if you dont give someone the chance to correct a mistake, or explain them your problems correctly, it isnt exactly their fault is it?

also.... you have another company or whatnot in your sig with a thumbsdown. maybe you just like to play the victim when you are too impatient to work things out. i hope you never get married, as it will undoubtedly end in divorce.

sorry about that last part. but if you are quick to jump to conclusions, so am i.

I'll vouch for RyWire any day.

Chase's turnaround time on my harness was extremely fast and from the pictures I posted in the Shaved/Tucked/Customized Engine Bays thread, you can see that the attention to detail is second to none.

I bought a chipped ECU from Ryan with one of his basemaps. The car started up perfectly first try. No CEL's, no hickups or sputtering, no missfires, perfect idle, not to mention my car pulls HARD. He also overnighted me an 02 Sensor when I was in desperate need of one.

These guys stand behind their work and are definately willing to do what it takes to ensure customer satisfaction. It's not their fault that you aren't willing to talk to them to work through any complications you are having.

I'm a person that expects to get what I paid for. It was his first harness, he should have taken it back and rechecked his wiring not have me check it. I've never once asked for money back for it because I know it would have worked after hours on the phone, but I didn't have time to play phone tag with someone. If I wanted to wire my own car I wouldn't have bought a harness. He pissed me off when he said "There is nothing wrong with it" after I asked to send it back the second time, if he was so sure about it being right how the expletive did he miss the 3 male plugs that were suppose to be female plugs the first time.

and that thumbs down was up before the company became scammers and went under... i was happy to see them ******* go under

you failed to mention you have bought TWO harnesses from rywire. did you not?

one for an EF that you claimed didnt work only to later find it was your personal cluster wiring messed it up.

and a second harness that you asked him to do. he explained to you that it was his first DC/k harness so you would need to work with him since he didnt have the car in front of him. you agreed.

when it didnt work the first time, you didnt go to ryan, you came to honda tech to bash the company. i know that you were offered a refund and also he offered to take the harness back and try again.

you didnt want to do so.

you have blatantly lied in this thread saying that you didnt want to be a guinea pig. when you DID in fact know it was his first harness for that application beforehand.

you have also lied about sending the harness back. he offered, you refused.

i probably shouldnt be posting this information because it isnt mine to discuss. period.

i will say that i know ryan personally. i met him on honda-tech like hundreds of others have. he has earned my respect as a business man and an asset to the sport, resulting in our friendship.

so, when i see you on here purposely disrespecting him, his work, and his company. i sort of get offended. why? because i have seen him go out of his way for countless others and know that what you are stating is utter bullshit.

your posts are nothing but accusations with no facts to back up your statements. i have provided facts that you cant argue with.

END OF DISCUSSION.

How bout I never made a public post on h-t about this harness till today. I've never bashed him or his company till today on ht. My *** I was offered a refund... I sent it back once for him to change the plugs, I asked to send it back a second time for him to fix it and he said "there was nothing wrong with it" meaning, i'm nothing taking it back... nothing was ever said about a refund either. If it was said I would have taken it.

I knew it was his first dc harness, doesn't mean I wanted to figure out the wiring for him, he never said I'd have to work with him to figure it out. If he said that I would have bought a harness from hasport for 50 more bucks that I knew worked.

'you have also lied about sending the harness back. he offered, you refused."

you want to try me mother ******... I still have my pms with him through k20a.org why the hell would I refuse to send it back, I already sent it back once before for his expletive up.
