umm, its a slightly stroked b16?

cool motor since it's pretty rare, but there's really not much else to it.

 

Mr_CRX pretty much explained it.

But the b17 was also partnered with the ys1 4.4fd big spline cable tranny (equivalent of the usdm itr). I believe stock the b17 puts put out similar hp numbers as the b16 with slightly more torque due the the displacement.

Mine has ctr pistons, some headwork, ctr cams and a shitty tune (safe, but shitty)....hence my slow times this past summer. But I'm in the process of building an lsvtec, so I'll be selling the complete 12.2:1 cr 1.7L shortblock in the near future and stepping up to the 1.8.

im going to prep it for paint and get it sprayed some weird pink color, throw on some m7 wanna bee's, and drop it. she swears on pink, and i swear its still going to look hot and im still going to drive it
