Let's just say I'm getting a type-s engine damn near free and would only have to really pay for extra part's/labor.

-edit-

Cause my friend totalled his type-s and is parting out the car cheap. He sold his VAFC2 for like $50. And his engine, well he's selling it for DIRT CHEAP. With my connections I'll probably only be putting in 6-7k at the most total for the whole swap to be done.

And oh Jay you're living my dream, I want a Suby too but an '06 Wagon and also a lifted Tacoma as well. Maybe when I get a little older. </TD></TR></TABLE>
well like i said just sit back and think about if your going to sell your car or not cause once you have the k swap done to it.....even harder to sell....

True enough but the owner of PWJDM told me something and it made sense. Sooner or later everyone is going to be very limited to even getting a hold of the real ones, so why not get the ones that come close to it. Hehe, have you been hanging out around my house? BTW both of these cars don't look exactly like this anymore. The tacoma has black wheels on it now, and is slightly more lifted after the new tires and shocks, and the STi has my 5Zigen GN+'s on it. That's just funny that you mentioned both cars that I got after I sold my hatchback last summer.

did you have the code before you cleaned up the wiring or was it after? you maybe running rich, try replacing your o2 sensor & check your wiring again also.

limited or not, they're fakes. thats like paying the 1000 price for ROTAs because the original wheel is limited now. Would you pay $1000 for rotas charlie? I think not. plus real visions ARE limited, thats why you already pay over a bill for them, espeacially smoked versions. But for smoked fakes, no way, i rater get $30ish fake ambers & smoke them myself.

oh, anyone see that rota replicated the Mugen CF48!

the main thing that i dont agree with this statement on y i think the k is better is that fact that u can have a fully built motor for the same as a k swap but heres my point. u wont have the realibility with a fully built b/h/d motor comparitive to a stock k runnin same times on the quarter.

well if what ewj said is true about losing oil in 1&2 cylinders above 8xxxrpms then there is a reliability problem, i like the k-series and if i had money falling out of my *** i would put one in, but i dont so i would stick to what i know and what has been tried and true so far

Hahaha naw, but yeah maybe in the following year's I'll have all of that of my own, only the new '07 Tacoma and the '07 WRX wagon.

-EDIT-

And even though a lot of my friends have Evo's and yes I know Evo's&gt;Sti's, I still got love for Subies.
