Another update post from rabbit

WOOO shes alive ( sorry no pics yet ).. With the help from Cranberry and another buddy we dropped the Daul cam in. then i went about hooking and wirering it all up. ANd wirering for the knock sensor turned out pretty well. For my first time, my sautering was pretty clean. BUT like every other time, as in most occasions, there was a check engine light! CODE 41! O2 nonsence, but in my case, i discovered it was only a wire that became unpinned when i connected the O2 Sensor. quick fix, cleared code, smashed out of the shop to get a GRUBBIN' BURRITO! feels good to 'B' back lol. ( pics coming asap for those who want to see??)

hows everyone else doing? Steph, i havent caught any of whats going on with your car little lady?

They do have panels for hondas. Heres a direct link to thier catalog. You will find Honda on the list. Highlight it then click Go To Categoy. Then it will list the cars they have panels for. Highlight Civic 29-95/Del Sol 93-97 then click on Go To Parts Page. They're there. $33 each.

damn what b you go with? one of my friends has a b16 eh and just turbo'd it, looks amazing i want it so bad, lol

but yea a lil update on my egg, so the transmission i needed to replace, finally got replaced and my car is still acting up, turns out on top of my transmission going bad, i have a part of my exhaust rubbing and wheel bearing on passenger side is bad, which is why some people thought it was only the transmission, so gotta get fix that now before i can start modding... but yay for a part i pretty much must upgrade to fix ... but for parts non stop going bad with it in the extremly short amount of time that i owned it

went with the 94 gsr full swap. It was in my cx and just transfered it over to my Si. Hopeing that ill have the cx stock and running by next wednesday. Have to get her sold already. now just need to buy a new clutch/ pressure plate/ flywheel package for the GSR. my pressure plate is acting up, and im going to guess that my clutch could be replaced at the same time. Going with the Exedy Stage 1 clutch and P.Plate. and the clutchmasters flywheel.

But good to hear that you got ONE part of your car fixed.. keep on working at it, it will be fixed soon! ( thats what i keep telling myself when i work on my car lol) Tansmissions are what spook me the most, i cant read/ imagine whats up with them... they just brake all of a sudden and i feel so lost. best of luck man, post pics of the car or work; always interesting to see in this thread.

Gsr cars are quick, i cant wait to take my hatch back to the strip. First will come the clutch stuff. but im really looking forward to going to button willow and infineon later this year, to get in some full track experience, thatll be lots of fun. As for the stock clutch, its no biggy, itll work just fine, two years of strip time and daily driving mine did just fine. I have a stock build, and thats all the clutch you really need.

but heck, if you have 3g's and the car doesnt look that bad, id say jump on it. wirering can always be fixed in spare time if you have another car to drive. :-) DO IT!!! ( if you have the cash )

that one is the worst, it catches you off gaurd. i felt like a total retard when my ignitor poo'ed out while driving over to a buddies house. i was only a half mile from his apt. along with it, i was parked in a construction zone and we pushed my car all the way to his place, through a stop light in traffic...a few people got a good laugh.

I bought mine with a b16 for $3400 and the wiring was fucked up and he use speaker wire to wire int vtec. So on that note for those of you that have never seen my car, its because Im still trying to bring it back to stock, there was/is so much **** missing. I love my **** to death though so I'll do whatever it take to get it where I want it.
