Offical eH squad list.
Seems like I'm stuck with it until my dad get's back from his Canada canoe trip. It's gotta be coming from the loose flange on my b-pipe where it connects to my header collector flange. I knew I should have welded it but didn't want the angle to be off when I bolted it up for the first time. I figured wrenching the two spring bolts down nice and tight would seal the deal. Funny thing is...it didn't start this until after I tightened the exhaust flange bolts down a bit more the other day when I was under the car checking things out. I totally should have had the exhaust shop weld that flange tight when they did my axle back section.
I'll have dad weld it up and see if that helps.
This flange is loose...locked down tight with the bolts...but must seem to have just enough rattle room.

No kiddin' right? My dad has been a welder for 40 years and I never once had him teach me. On my way to Walmart to pickup some groceries a bit ago...it donned on me that maybe my final two poly urethane engine mount inserts might have some connection to this rittle rattle. Since the engine is pretty stiff...I'm sure all the vibrations are transferred into other places and more concentrated than before.
Nice avatar Todd, hows your eg doing bud?
Glad youre liking the mounts Gabe, told ya, even the street mounts are going to be pretty solid, the race ones IMO are only if the car is for track only. I need mounts too but I'll just window weld it sometime. My engine bucks a lottt. Its really annoying getting off the light and around parking lots in 1st gear. I let go off the gas and it just jerks back and you can see the rpms jump a bit bc of the engine moving and makes it annoying when theres traffic and Im barely moving.

I was just reading a thread on how to insert rubber hoses into the mounts to stiffen them up a bit.. it was an iinteresting thread and I might try it on my si
LOL...I had some rubber hose in my two upper mounts before these poly inserts. Not even close to the same effect. The vibrations don't bother me...it's the noise that the exhaust makes now that bothers me. I'll have this button'd up next week.

Alright so here is a pic of the test fit I did, I have more if you guys want me to host it.
So the scoop is get these for $150 and throw my S.Drives on them and buy new winter tires for the Si wheels and drive my hatch through the winter like it has always been for the past 18 years lol and save some cash and just do the suspension when it warms up again. What you think? They are 15x6.5 +40 Konig Heliums and this is the worst wheel out of the set, minor curbage.
