So yesterday was a long *** day, it all started on friday around 4pm got off saturday at 6am from target. I go home wait for a local place to open up to go buy some hardware i needed. Get a text from my friend sayin hey get down here and watch. I was trying to take a power nap. So i get up go down there and lucky for me it was the fast guys running when i get there. So group one had run and they were lining up group two.I watch group two run and my other friend shows up. so we start walking the coarse after they are done. kind to get a view of the lay out i snapped a few for you guys.

they straight was long enough for me to bounce off the rev limiter in 2nd

this piture will be posted twice due to me ****ing up in this part on my first run

now the rest i took

Ok. So im watching during my cone time on the course and watching the back of the track and seeign all the rwd guys get loose so i start getting nervous for my runs right then and there. watching these vettes, mazdas, and bimmers brake hella late into the corner and trying to get ideas on how im going to run. Well the time comes group 3 is done and its time to move my car to the staging lane. I sitting there having all these thoughts run thru my head. Well its time put the helmet on car in front of me gets the green flag i pull up to the start box and every feeling hits me. I get the flag and i baby it off the line throw it in 2nd and just let my mind take over. i'm feeling pretty good around the first section heading to the hair pin right before the straight, make my way around it and see the cones i go thru before the straight i nail it let off (heres the refernce the picture will help)
so i start to let off and i make the first set of cones but fly completly right of the second and last set of cones get the dnf for a 47.xx but i got a real good feel of the lay out. second i take it a bit easy on the next run so i can get a clean run in and get the braking zone for the part i messed up in clean run 48.xx. ok got it figured out kinda, lets go ***** to the wall. push it deeper into the corner posted and it pays off shaved 2 seconds off my time 46.xx, next run 46.xx dropped a tenth off the time. last run i think i could of touched 45's but i got a little side ways in the first hair pin but kept it moving in a good manner make it thru the rest 46.034 was my best time. pumped up about the whole thing in gen. i now know i can handle this stuff and it is local and i can actully build a car and use it more then a couple times a year and still drive it around the block.
Gtr was mind blowing to watch.

Morning fellas. Woke up early enough this morning to ear breakfast lol. Feared roads would be slippery since we had our first snow on saturday. Mad people spun out on my drive on saturday. Even seen an suv hit the median. It seems like people here don't know how to deal with the weather. Unsure if they are rushing to get somewhere, don't notice there is snow, over confident with their driving skills, or thinking with snow tires on they can drive like that. **** blows my mind.
im in michigan....its always the same every year.....first couple snowfalls people get in so many accidents, slide-offs, etc... its like over the summer they forgot how to drive cautiously....retards

That's weird...they let you enter the event late...after they had already started? I've never heard of that before. What club is this? My advice for first-timers/novice drivers is always to try and go half-speed for your first run just so you can get a feel for how the course flows. Step it up on the next run and from there you should consistently get faster if you're getting it. Sounds like you had fun though...that is usually the outcome for most first-timers...they love it.
the fresno-scca. they have two registrations. group 1 and 2 was in the early am and group 3 and 4 was in the afternoon. my first run was my slowest till the straight i wanted to see if i would leave second and i didnt i let my mind drift for just a second and i made my own line. I had an awsome time and i can see why you havnt but a vtec head on the b20. you really dont need it. I'm hooked and really wish I would of done this sooner.

i beleive that. a kid with a super charged ls thats been going all year only had one run faster then me. i had a blast. im getting a set of yoka ad08's to use when they start running next year and i got to get my brakes changed. maybe i'll throw a rear sway on it at some point. i really want a diff thu.
