Raining here for the next few days so I havent had a nice time to go out and snap some pics of the integra guys. Sorry about that.
Theres a small autox event coming up about 30 minutes from my house. Im going to put my gsr brakes and my old janky suspension and take the civic out there. Should be fun. I have until Oct 16th to get it ready.

I know im about to buy a set for kicks and giggles. Only problem is that would lead to me having to buy new wheels, followed by some 1pc coilovers. I just dont wanna a gumball going on the downward spiral. lol

shipping for me would be 60 dollars, which effectively is 85 dollars a tire. that is a good price, but there isn't enough "good" out of that tire to make me even think about it. i would rather pay more money for a better tire that will last longer than the triple8. yeah, you bought a triple8 for 85 dollars, but after 3 events it is heat cycled out. that isn't getting your moneys worth in my opinion. ra1s last forever and stay fast, 888s are fast then fall flat, which is a reason why all toyo mandated classes in nasa went back to the ra1.
try the rs3s! i would have went with them just for the pricepoint and what i have heard about them. i went with a r because with certain things coming up, i don't want to be "surprised" by a r comps tendencies.
buddy, it is just like me talking turbos with you.
a lot of people see "oh my goodness, r comp for 70 bucks. wow." i don't see it as that, as far as tire knowledge, i have a lot to learn.
i have been reading too many "driver" books, the "mechanical" side has been let go for some time. tire technology opened my eyes at the porsche event i did. dan clarke and i were just shooting the crap, then we get into the falken tire alms gt car. his old team he drove for, now runs that car. he was talking about how they haven't been able to get the tire construction right, etc. so, as a driver, he can tell a tire's behavior, not just psi dependant, etc but the tire as a whole. that is amazing to me, but i guess it is the evolution.

Nah...I already have the RE-11's for my street tires...Reading the reviews on tirerack.com...the RS3 is very identical. I just really liked how the R888's faired for me on the solo course last year and the one event this year. They definitely grip better than my RE-11's too.
as they should, guess it is time for some a6s. time to get on santa's lap and rub him the right way, if you know what i mean.
