i will put this here. good discussion. i like to see both sides of it because i already see the trend. mtownneon has a lot of experience but has the views that i see most "noobs" to have.

Case-Closed.
obviously you can read my comments. can this happen in an "experienced race" group. i find more wrong with the picture:
-WHY ARE THE SPECTATORS SO CLOSE?!!!!
-why are people getting out of the car WITHOUT helmets on for one. oh wait, because THEY DIDNT HAVE THEM ON TO BEGIN WITH.
-also if you have done an event before, when do you get out of the car? this is expressed at every driver's meeting. IF THE CAR IS ON FIRE. the event organizers should have a safety team there or the track itself. they respond to the incident, not other drivers.
-i see alot more wrong but i will stop there.

My axle wont go in the hub
. Any ideas?
Not even the oem one will go in, then again I had to hammer it out so I guess the new axle isnt supposed to go in. I hate this, nothings going right.
I checked both axles and they're the same so I know it's not the axle itself being different, can't really do much with the boot being in the way.

Where was that video that we all kept talking about it...was that the other eg thread? I dont remember.
I wouldnt race on there, because honestly...im a noob. I wouldnt want to ruin someone elses car that they have put a lot of hard work and money into, let alone my car.
Even if I wasnt though, I wouldnt.

Put the trans side in. Clean the "stud" of the half shaft and the carrier part of the hub. Get it started and put some muscle behind it. You normally have to put something behind anything drivetrain related due to tolerances. Remember what we said about actually turning some wrenches? Lol.
Dave, good Outlook. I myself would rather have worked my way up. Granted my progression scale has been made "faster". Pun intended.

Not really. You put a can of like pb or something up to it. Try to use the psi out of a straw? Or even use the new pin to get it out? I doubt a Phillips head will do much.
Get off the computer and put a little more muscle in it. If you are taking a break, you should be resting your fingers and prepare for your next attempt. So stop typing and rest them fingers
Lol Im just going on the iPod real quick. I got me a punch so Ima try to get it out using that, and then Ima drive to a local shop and get the axle nut loose and drive back!
