****...that sucks, sounds like the cop was kool about it, considering most of time when you a get a failure to appear you get a bench warrant out. just hope you learned now, dmv & court are different, they don't connect together. go get bar'd now and you can probably get it dismissed in court considering it is a "replacement" engine </TD></TR></TABLE>

just transfer it under a friends name, say u sold it. all the charges against you will be dropped.

I think just the fact that I had an illegal "jdm" engine swap set him off, he's was being an *** but in a real subtle way...

And yeah the tow guy and even the cop assured me that they'd treat my car real "gingerly" and they said they'd make sure to park it near all the cameras... But I also took my camera video phone and recorded everything inside and out.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
usually tow guys are car guys... if they have any ounce of respect for the car, they'll watch out for it.
also, I thought jdm swaps aren't illegal in ca? I mean, yours was because it wasn't BAR'd, but otherwise you should have been fine.

Yeah the tow guy was actually cool just the two cops were being suave *********. Tow guy said he'd make sure to park my car around a lot of cameras and said the lot in itself was heavily guarded. But I'll keep you guys posted gonna hit up the DMV, courthouse, impound lot and get my poor hatch outta there.

Charlie that ******* blows man.

I hope it all works out and no one dicks with your car. We have had to get rediculous where I work to keep the thieves and vandals out of customers cars.

I managed to hit an 11.67 on an 80 shot Sat night, putting in 4 more nozzles and 100 more hp worth of juice looking for a 10.9xx this weekend.

Alright squad the time is here... My car is going to paint. After finally getting the money and the time the only hold up is the color. Ive just gone through around 3000+ pics of various hatches on my comp. So far Im thinking: Stock (Aztec Blue Green), B13 (Daytona Blue Pearl), and Some sort of dusty silver. I like the blue but I would kill someone if they parked too close to my car and they dinged my ****. In all honesty I am leaning hard to stock. I do plan on keeping my car so I figured I ask my car family. I might be too lazy to read through all the responses so PM me a serious suggestion.

i just think the cop was ******* with you on the jdm thing....they are legal as long as you have all the smog stuff hooked up. but you also had the megan header and password intake. which=no carb numbers. hince the reason why i think he gave you sooo much ****. your motor being bored over .30 will not accect the motor passing smog my friends 2.0 liter gsr just passed smog. i wish you luck with that one...
so whats up everyone? jay you need to get video of your car at the track homie....times are looking good.

Its stock or a complete diff color. I see no sense in doing a color change to a stock hatch color. I did suck finding out my **** was Aztec instead of the Paradise Blue Pearl I thought it was.

The more I look @ it I think so myself. I dropped my tailgate and saw it without clearcoat and that **** is attention grabbing considering it isnt meant to be. I just gotta find good rim selection. Im thinking some grey evo's. But first things first huh?

I have to admit, I have both those pics saved on my comp and I still think the one with the black slips was the best.
