((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
I sold it for $6300.
I know, it's sad. BUT I needed something better as a DD for myself and my son. Plus, like we talked about a few pages back, the worry of it being taken/vandalized was frustrating. I enjoy driving my car, but I couldn't take it places nearly as much as I wanted for the fear I had in leaving it in the wrong place. At least with the EP (which I like for many other reasons), I don't have that issue. It's more "undesirable" and has the immobilization chip in the keys.
I will miss the hell out of my EG, but I think the EP is a better fit for me right now...
...If only I can find one

Thanks, I spent time on that sucker lol. I wish I could say the same for the one in place of the radio, I need to redo. The plexi I bought for that was too thin, it's kinda flimsy.
Bad day at my house.... Had a slow leak in one of the Works on my wife's TSX, so I took it to a tire shop to have them check for leaks. Come to find out the inner lip of the wheel has a crack in it.... My wife was balling crying, she loves those wheels. Taking it Monday to see if a local shop can fix it up for us.
The biggest problem is that I live in Oklahoma and it isn't exactly a great place to find specialty shops to fix stuff like this. There is only one wheel repair place within 100 miles and they are pretty wishy washy from what I hear.
I do have to say, oklahoma city has the roughest interstates that I've seen, and you got lucky the crack is on the inner barrel cause you will never see the repair
Yeah I think it will be okay, just have to find a good place to do it.
I'll be honest. I'm not pleased with the quality of these wheels at all. They have plenty of sidewall height on the tire, we are super careful on bumps, and keep the tire pressure at 35-38 no matter what and they still cracked. The powdercoat has some flaws here and there and they aren't light at all. They were the wheels my wife was DEAD set on, so that's why we got them. I think we should have saved up a little longer and gotten some blue TE37s or CE28s myself...
They were only a couple hundred more than Rotas though.
