Not if you want to insure it. Some states/insurance companies will bust your ***** over a salvaged title. I'd look for a car from a private seller that has a blown motor or something. Your chances of finding a clean one going to be slim to none. A good amount of work is going to be needed just due to the years.

I do, but not as clean as your bay!! Hopefully I'll get to respray the bay next year or so.. Not at my computer at the moment, I'll post some later tonight

just for the record if it helps anybody, i had a bone stock gsr with just external bolt ons i.e: header, intake, exhaust etc.. stock jdm ecu with a dry 30, 50 and eventually a 75 shot and never had any issues. made atleast 50-75 passes at the track and never had any issues. i did go a step colder on the plugs with the 75 though.

that set up went 12.96 @109mph full weight (no weight reduction) and 2.1/2.0 60 foots with kumho ast street tires.

i did have a walboro 255, stock fuel pressure regulator also.

 

those are pretty good 60ft's for street tires, nice times also i bet that car was fun

aero-wise, which lip u guys prefer? BYS or J's Racing? for track use and to be paired with a front splitter? (so the lip is basically the air dam)
