Are those the black regas refinished? Came out awesome!
Not feeling the coloured in tire letters along with the lip stickers, imo theres too much going on lol

AHVTEC, I think out of all your wheels, I honestly think I like the RNR's the best. I love the CE's too, but the Mugen's are classic
Oh, I just turned 25.. I'm getting old. At least I can rent a car for $10 cheaper now lol

The problem your having is you have a bad sized tire, I used to have the same size regas and had some 205/40 tires and they made the wheels look huge, get yourself some 225/45 on your 8in wide wheel and look like a boss
I wish I had a 8 in wide 16 in wheel
wow some clean pics..
side now I will be 32 this year and bought my first EG when i was 19 and still have it bought 2 more EG's one for my dad and one for a Daily like 8 years ago and just sold it 2 weeks ago. man i need to get some pics up my first EG just sits in the garage havn't drove it in like 4 years, going to do a full restore on it starting this summer, wife, baby and house take priority though.
I am partial to Mugen M7 on EGs

I like my Azenis, sure you could spend a lot more money on some $200/tire Potenzas or R-Comps, but Azenis are pretty affordable, have a bitchin tread pattern, and are plenty sticky for your occasional off ramp or auto-x. Loud once the tread gets a little low, don't last as long as some other comparably sticky tires, and are seen on a lot of hardparked cars, but they aren't a bad tire for a street car/occasional weekend auto-x car.
Agree with everything you said there. My point was that there are other tires in that same category that are better like IMO the Star Specs or XS. Re11s don't even cost $200 in that size, more like 175. I agree with them being affordable bc re11s are just mad money and the star specs or XS have similar performance for much less.
Well Ive experienced a good amount of tires... From 3 sets of Dunlop DZ101's, a few sets of Neo Gens (tons of friends have them too) Star Specs which I currently have on my Type R Wheels, my girl friend has them on her Type S Wheels, My Best Friend has them on his evo a couple of my friends have auto crossed on them... Seen those same friends try out the Hankooks... I know what works and doesnt work for the tires I've seen. The RT615K are a HUGE improvement over the regular RT615.... Falken Took the newer revised version and used the same test vehicle of the original tire and it was a full second faster on the test track. But not only do they grip a ton better they last ALOT longer than the original 615... My good friend had 2 sets of the 615's and went through them like water but did everything he could do to destroy the 615K's and they withstood the abuse and some... He gave them Waaayyyy more abuse than I ever will... Aka 3rd gear rolling burnouts (Supercharged K Series) lol... Plus my car will never see rain and wont be driven but at most a few days a week. Only other tires I will get will be Neo Gens cause they are good all around or the Z1 StarSpecs
Im gonna use a 205-50-15

Nah not at all, the 16s look really good on there. I think your tires are just a little bit too stretched but looks good nonetheless. 16s work good if you have the right height and fitment.
Btw have you seen the tire selection for 16x8? I sucks lol.
My Friend 6Spd_EJ6 had the K's for a good while, not sure how many miles, but he abused them everywhere he went. Spun the tires every single time he drove the car lol, he ended up selling the wheels though.
I like the StarSpecs but I have them already and my girl friends tires wore a little too quickly, yes the alignment was in spec.... and same with them on my friends evo, just wore a bit too quick... Id still get them though because i dont drive my car enough for me to worry about them wearing prematurely... I had a friend that used to work with me that auto crosses on the star specs and he's had great success with them and they have seemed to last him a while... Just have always liked the look of the Azenis and now that they can withstand some abuse and not die out in 5K lol im gonna try them out i think.

I just saw someone post this on Facebook about a friend's newborn daughter.

i've ran the 615's before and they are good for some auto-x as they warm up pretty fast, but they get greasy very fast as well. i wouldn't trust my life on the 615's for a road course though. once they get greasy, they get pretty scary.
they also sucked in the rain but i think that's the design of the tread block and not the compound.
honestly though, i'm sure the 615K will be great for a street tire as it's grippy and stiff (and it looks pretty good for the hard parking
), and they're usually well priced for our sizing.i might buy some RE11's next as i was quite impressed by the original RE-01R's that i had (didn't really get too greasy on a road course). the Starspecs are also great on the track as well and they're pretty cheap when they're on sale.
i'll let you know how my R888's are once i hit the track with them. right now, they're pretty loud on street, but then again, they're pretty much an R-comp anyways

you guys make me feel old as i'll be 33 this year

Congrats on being a new father! and *high 5 for your wife being nearly a DECADE younger* hahahha

My Azenis RT-615s are toast after almost 4 years, imagine that.... What do you guys think about RE-760s, Dunlop Direzza DZ101, or BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2?
I need a decently sticky tire under $550 shipped in a 205-45-16 and those are the tires that keep coming up as the best bang for my buck.
