The drone from my exhaust is killing me on my commute. The S4C transmission has me at damn near 4000rpm at ~60mph. I went as far as getting some FatMat (Dynamat knockoff) and plastering it all over the rear of the car. It helped but it's still too loud for me.

I'm thinking about switching to a GSR stock exhaust setup. I've read that it fits fine, just needs to be shortened a little. What part needs to be cut? The B-pipe? Or the axle-back?

 

axle back. b pipes are same.i had a gsr bpipe on my hatch for a while.

Sad part is, they would probably still be lighter than these Drag knockoffs I have.

Hope everyone out there is doing good! I dont post a whole lot anymore but still lurk and love to see all the hatch pics.

In the past I have talked about selling my car but cant bring myself to do it. Well I finally decided im keeping it and I now have almost everything all brand new OEM for the exterior of my car. Going to be taking it all apart this fall and winter to do a make over/restoration with all new paint, seals, trim, plastics etc. so im getting pretty excited Still need to locate a few items I cant get new but hope to have those soon.

Car has been great to me over the years and deserves a restoration rather than to be sold to someone that wont care for it as I have. Hoping to get another set or 2 of pictures in its current state this summer before it changes. Here it is at Deals Gap last fall while I had it on the east coast

 

Its not worth it to give away an Eg in the condition you got yours bro, before you know it cars like that will be rare and will be considered collectibles. Looking at your eg I think you made the rite choice :D

That really sucks......not sure if it is proof broke kids now own ITR's or the people that own them now have kids/families/busy lives and cant take the time. Sad either way. I would go if I had an ITR

 

You don't have to have an ITR to go. It is "go time" now. It is about 2 weeks until the deadline and they are barely above half way!! It will be a huge bummer if it doesn't happen, that is for sure. I have been 3 years now and it is a "can't miss" event. So, I am, along with others, breaking the internet rules and spamming the crap out of the event.

 

 

What's the point of going to ITR expo without an ITR? Am I supposed to bring my STI? Just to keep the event alive? If it was still a viable event, they'd have enough participants. Maybe Honda should make an ITR again.

 

Not really, quite a lot of people go with non ITRs.

There are a lot of people who move onto "bigger and better" cars or some don't have financial stability to wall an ITR up. Regardless, it is for the "community", not just for a specific car model.
