pffffttttt.
agreed on chasing power. I just wanted my tuner to clean it up so I can drive it. I'm not too concerned with numbers. But it was a good sign that power was there even though I'm on some pro1s instead of pro2 that I have as well, granted high cam wasn't tuned. Just had him check to make sure it changed over and didn't go crazy. It clicked over, afr's were money so I just stopped him there. He tuned out my partial throttle so its smooth. Will be searching for power in a few weeks. Hopefully 240+
AHVTEC- your car is so mint dude. I love it.

240+whp Have you gone mad!! haha car looks sick, i kinda like the Drag Stance with the *** end up looks like its ready for business. clean car
Its actually pretty cost effective as well. You can get a quart for about $35. Thats enough to do like 3 coats of it for all of the undercarriage and a set of wheel wells. Almost enough to do the front wheel wells too. So just get a quart and go from there. Order a pint if you come up short. If you want to do the interior too, you could just buy another quart. Btw, I recommend the gray over the black. Black looks too glossy IMO.
I also went through that dilemma. Would love to remove everything and just do a rotisserie build but no one can build their car the way they truly want because money is always an issue. I wanted to get a daily so that I can put my car on jackstands and just clean up the undercarriage and POR it but then after much talk with a fellow SHG member I came to the conclusion that while that would be nice, its not needed.
I can just drive it everyday and then get to work when I come home say on a weekend where I'll have 2 or 3 days downtime and do one wheel well at a time. Its much more manageable that way. One section at a time. I may get a spare set of control arms too so that I can just get my OEM parts powdercoated and use the spares for the meantime. When I install the coated original parts, I can just swap it out and sell the spare arms and get my money back. Same goes for other suspension components
Careful planning goes a long way my friend!

Wow, that's not bad as far as price. I'll be getting the gray for the arches and undercarriage, and maybe the black for the fuel tank. I'm still on the fence on doing this to the interior and bay though..
I actually just picked up a little daily truck, so I have a chance to set my car aside and do this all in one go. My issue is going to be getting everything cleaned enough underneath to coat it correctly.
I am planning on doing the same with the arms. I'm ordering the master bushing kit to replace all the worn out rubber, and while I install them, I'm having them redone. I think it will be worth the effort
When ever I get my head finished up, prob mid may.
I drove my car to work for the first time in months last week, everything went cool and had a lot of fun cruising around, taking some on ramps quick, late breaking every chance I got. Got home, parked it in the garage to go get dinner in the truck. Get home a couple hours later to half of my coolant on the floor..... Gotta love 20 year old heater hoses springing a leak for no reason. Probably get it fixed sometime in the next month or so haha.

Local friend of mine's super clean B18C GSR hatch with a little giggle juice. He's pretty young and I'm trying to steer him in the right direction with wheels that fit, suspension that still has some travel and nice tasteful mods. Like a little brother to me.

Looks really close! I love me some black EGs.
He bought it with the exterior the way it is, but it had a blown motor and needed lots of cleaning up. He built the motor himself top to bottom and did the re-installation of everything on his own. I haven't even done that and I've got 6 years on him haha.
