My FF type 1s were like 8k/10k, they were softer than my koni yellows at 0 degrees.

 

I'm surprised how many people don't know their own spring rates lol. FF Type 1s are actually 10k F and 6k R.

I don't know my own spring rates and really don't care since I like the way it rides and handles on the street regardless of the specs of the springs. My coilovers aren't made anymore, so I doubt I'll ever know what the rates are.

Mine were 8kf/6kr, had the rears revalved for new 10k springs.

 

Did you have the original Type 1s when they were anodized red?

 

I have no idea, I bought them 18 months ago and the rears blew in 30 days.

 

What the heck? Why were they 8k/6k? Who did you buy them from? Strange.

I've had good results with my Type 1s. Pretty much did what I wanted them to do and expected to be. Going on 2 years strong now and still ride just as good.
