((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
Do you guys remember me talking about my cousin's first car being a super clean EG hatch with fresh paint, nice wheels etc.? Car got totalled the other day. Traffic stopped quick and my cousin didn't... Bumper of the truck went right through the cylinder head and destroyed the front end of the car.... Poor car is getting parted out and he will be getting something newer and more reliable to take to college. Sad day for sure...

RIP... May your parts live on through other Civics in the Hampton Roads, VA area.

whiteslips - that is a sad day to see a clean body go to the wrecker. at least your cousin is ok though.
i wasted my entire weekend cleaning up the new CX and putting the interior back in....what a pain in the *** it is to put the carpet back in.

Stiff and smooth and I also replace my Bush bearings with Spoon bushes .Todays been Nice

Yeah, I was impressed .The other thing that came across my mind was ,how such a small part can play such a big role in feel.It goes to show you that everything counts even to the last bolt.
So I installed my wilwood brake kit last night, and they clear my weds perfectly, probably one of the best investments I've made, car stops on a dime and they don't look ridiculas under 16s like the stock cx brakes looked
I need to do that to mine one of these days, with 205K on the shell they cant be in that great of shape. How much did that kit run you?
Should have used this while the carpet was out. Used it on my car when I first got it and took the carpet out. Carpet looks brand new still to this day

I actually want to replace the carpet on this car, but my friends at Honda parts tell me the black carpet is no longer available. Only the grey color is available...
How is that dye? Luckily my oem mats cover up any imperfections with this CX carpet. I gotta drill a hole through the carpet for my dead pedal though. I miss that thing a lot since my Si has it
Ill post some pictures next time im by a computer, speaking of bushings making a car feel great, has anyone bought the spoon rigid kit, from the reviews I've heard they say its night and day difference, any inputs?
Haylex - yah man we have some aging vehicles! Bushings are definately in need of replacement for out cars
Crxfornow - not sure how good they are but any new bushing will be better than the originals on the car

These cars are basically 20 years old now
